When things are put into a concunction in a way never seen before, yes, that is when we can truly glimpse the mechanics of the universe!
The results of logic - of "natural progression?" Boring! an "expected result?" Dull! An "obvious next step?" Pfui! Where’s the fun in that?
We want to see the unexpected! The strange and terrible! A dream merely soothes - but our nightmares make us run!
Behold! I have gained an Impossible Theorem!
Also reached "Courier’s Footprint."
I finally, finally obtained a cryptobotanical rosette, almost two years after starting the tournament!
Soo, I recently capped Advancing the Liberation.
salutations , comrade! viva la revolucion!
as for my alt, he’s finally escaped from the orphanage, after getting buried alive(wasn’t so bad, pet plant rescued him/her real fast) only once. now all he/she needs is some supplies to reach the current ambition cap for Light Fingers. i must say Light Fingers gives a couple of pretty good mid-tier weapons.
and my other newer alt has completed the venderbight part of Nemesis. probably rushed through it too fast. i need like 17 more points of watchful to advanced the ambition right now.
After two days of being a POSI, I’ve gotten myself a point of Notability, with the amazing luck of drawing the card twice! Lost it the first time right after a… small mess up. A little star by my name hasn’t felt this great since Kindergarden!
I have now picked up a Waxwail Knife, and thus completed my waiting-for-content grind. Now to slumber until the SS tie-in storylets are available.
Got Ambition: Enigma :D
My connections to the Rubbery Men have reached 500.
Just got a rare Blemmigan Secretary out of a surprise package that I got from an unsigned message :)
I’ve just successfully re-established my academic reputation! Take that, University.
I remember getting my soul back in a bottle in a bundle of oddities and then immediately after winning against Mr Apples in a card game and procuring a majestic pleasure yacht. All in two actions.
Theory: the soul brings luck.

I’m exceptionally pleased to have reached Notability 12 after essentially blowing all of my Society connections and echoes. Moriarty wouldn’t like a color plate, so I will stop there. Plus the snippet about being referenced by an Admiral in his entry sort of kind of maybe could be construed as a referenced to the Dark Spectacled Admiral in Sunless Sea, so I’ll take it.
At last I’ve acquired a Fluke-Core! That took a while.
I finally got a mood and maxed out my Scholar of the Correspondence (with help from the rare Fate-prerequisite River of Blood card). While my mood lasted I ground out a bunch more Enigmas and then got lucky and got myself another (!) Impossible Theorem.
Woo! And now I can go back to the Nadir, I’ve been waiting for weeks because I couldn’t lower my notability-enhanced Watchful waiting to do this.

With my new panther kitten, I have reacehd 50 pets and companions!
After squandering my criminal connections to get enough diamonds to get a Fabulous Diamond, I am now back to Criminals 150- One of Us!
Both my greatest triumph and my greatest waste of time. I grinded up to 25 secret miracles. Had a bit of fate to help me along the way.
probably not a such a great achievement for veteran players of the pointed candle-ish game but… i have the knife that devours flesh!!! the WAXWAIL KNIFE!!! woo hoo! 230-ish dangerous in total!!!
and now i think i’ll give up my tokens since i have no bleeding idea who has a mirrorsnatch box, and i MOST certainly do NOT want to seek mister eaten’s name OR go messing around with wells… except that very rewarding well in hunter’s keep.
and back to training up my dangerous stat to get the 2nd-tier POSI title…
and now i think i’ll give up my tokens since i have no bleeding idea who has a mirrorsnatch box, and i MOST certainly do NOT want to seek mister eaten’s name OR go messing around with wells… except that very rewarding well in hunter’s keep.
Why not just sit around without a Form and collect Prize Tokens that you can trade in for Brass Rings which you can sell? And did you get some rooms inside a Half-Abandoned Mansion? That’s the only place I know of that makes me actually want a Waxwail Knife. Congratulations on that one by the way! :)
personally i found that the fidgeting writer was better for getting brass rings quickly, though risky. waiting for tokens felt worse than waiting for the lift IRL
and i’ve collected all the items i could exchange prize tokens for, except searing enigma. and Half-Abandoned Mansion is from a card and needs winning streak of 4? yeah, got that too. also got a couple of order of XXX medals to increase XXX(i’ll probably not re-join KnC but i’m not going to openly tell anyone about my preferred attack mode!). the waxwailer was pretty much the last thing i wanted to collect from all the frivolous exchange of tokens.
