An agreement amongst seekers

Well, oops. I got hasty - was trying to betray people not in the pact as agreed. I made a mistake and betrayed one of the pact members. I have my own plans for reparations, beginning with the 40 fate I’ve already gifted, and I hope to make it up to them eventually. I’m hoping he will choose to come forward and forgive me.

Edit: As a result of my transgression - obviously I should no longer be considered part of the pact. As such, I won’t turn in the person who then swiped them all from me.

DenubisX is fair game, he betrayed me. Go get him boys.

Nevermind, he has the tokens necesary for the candle. Let’s just put him on the &quotto do&quot list for the next candle. http://fallenlondon.storynexus.com/Profile/Denubis~Banere

Somehow you’re like a betrayal magnet, Devoted_pupa. At least you’re helping us know who we can trust.

Watching all this from the outside is fascinating. Got to give kudos to Dolan, it seems, for figuring out a mechanism of hiding; but more generally, this agreement looks to resemble a collection of rich sheep self-announcing their likely wealth to any potential wolves. Sure, the sheep may have a rocket-launcher each and be willing to use them in mutual defense, but if the wolves can never be found…

Hiding is easy because you don’t need a form to betray someone.

Well, the &quotsheep&quot still attack people outside the agreement, so they’re not quite defenceless :)

Delicious seekers, could you also agree to send me some parcels? I would need a cat. Or two. Or more…

Hello, I’m on your unclear list! I’m not currently engaged in the stabby game. If I do ever become engaged in the stabby game, I will be sure to abide with the agreement.

If anyone’s still working on the candle, the way I finally got it was to escape to the Zee after ambushing someone. Even if you abandon your form, you’re still fair game for a counter-ambush. If you poke about Hunter’s keep enough while at Zee, you can obtain more enigmas to restock your store.

Add Nicholas Bjorge to the list of betrayers.

And here I thought we were past all of this ugly business. Oh well. I’ll see what I can do.

I’m completely baffled by all of this — I must be too low-level a Seeker to have encountered it (though I saw St. Cerise’s Candle in the Knife-and-Candle hut). I would like to sign onto the pact preemptively, for when I get that far.

At the moment, I am unable to progress because I have no Starveling Cats. (A number of wonderful people have sent me parcels, but the right one has yet to arrive.) I’m a bit confused as to how many SCs I need to proceed: Three? Seven? One?

You’ll need 4.

Well, you CAN do it with one Starvling, but you’ll need a fair bit of Fate for that

Just lost 40 tokens courtesy of RayDNoper, I was so close, but this betrayal has cost me everything. This will probably mark the end of my search, it has come at too great a cost

I’ve been trying to send you a hopefully-welcome fluffy little something, but your name doesn’t appear on my list: drop me a line when you’re back in Fallen London.

This is my second betrayal, so i didn’t have much at all when Ray betrayed me. I shall owe a favor to any who bedevil him. Contact me afterwards, and I shall assist you as I may.

I am clearly not very good at this game. sigh

Well I just got St Arthur’s Candle so think I am now at this stage of Seeking Mr Eaten’s Name. So could I please sign up for the pact, if it is still in existence.[li]

Also could someone PM me about how to get the second candle.
