This morning I finally became a paramount presence myself as well. Through blood, through dreams, through burning secrets and whispers between all and none. I write my name here before it is lost in parabola, or eaten by self destructive obsession.
Come over and share a toast with me, and tell me a secret while you’re at it.
Roland Banning, Midnighter, is also a paramount presence. He’s celebrated by entrenching his renown with the various factions of the city. edited by ZackOak on 7/6/2018
Locrian has finally looked up from her studies of the Correspondence long enough to join the ranks of the paramount presences of London. Ever the Watchful scholar at heart, a natural spy, friend to outcasts of all stripes, and unusually close associate of the Rubbery Men, she has never lost sight of the burning need to plumb the deepest secrets of the stars that led her to descend here years ago.
She would like to share her latest bit of hard-won professional wisdom: if you wish to blend violant and irrigo inks to observe the results, do be sure that your study is extremely well ventilated.
Padraig Cooper, Glassman, can now be considered a Paramount Presence.
An extremely active member of the Sanguine Ribbon Society, he attained fifty Sanguine Ribbons with the help of both friends and enemies. I would like to thank ZiggytheLion, Honeyaddict, and JaggedMallard for being reliable partners towards the end. No hard feelings for the number of times we sent each other to the boat.
London’s Blood came from lodgings.
London’s Marrow comes from criminal and lawful connections.
London’s Nerves comes from achieving the Courier’s Footprint.
With this out of the way, Padraig Cooper will now look towards matters of the heart, as well as attaining the highest possible renown among all of London’s varied peoples. Thank you. edited by Cooper on 7/8/2018
Joyous day - with some assistance, one has managed to both begin the journey down a path that does not exist (Enigma), and joined the lofty ranks of the Paramount Presences.
Rather late to the party, it seems, but better late than never.
The name is this (same as forum). Occupation one cannot mention (as you would forget it once it is spoken), but some (those not too touched by Irrigo) claim there is such a thing as a ‘Midnighter’, whatever that may be.
My real life spouse, esrtweet, is now a Paramount Presence. I’m posting this because the way the Forums are set up drives him crazy (and not in a good way). He has the Quality posted on his profile, in case confirmation is needed. He is a Correspondent.
EDIT: Thanks for adding esrtweet to the official list. edited by cathyr19355 on 7/18/2018
I’ve finished the long journey to Paramount Presence, with the help of all those who taught and told stories at my Orphanage. Trying to good in the world really does have its rewards, sometimes. My character is currently a Midnighter, but that may change in the near future.
Also, there’s a slight error in the list. Dima Lazarev is listed twice because they posted a second time to record that, to obtain no candle, they no longer possess a profession. As of a couple weeks ago, they are also no longer in London, making them (I believe) the first publicly recorded Paramount Presence to depart for the NORTH permanently.
My IGS Delores has become a Paramount Presence. She is a Midnighter and has asked me to post the following message for her:
Greetings! The journey to Paramount Presence was a long one and has put me in touch with many communicative characters of our Fallen London community. Many Thanks to Midnighter Ceiling Fan and the Correspondents Kasan and Seph Yessod, who stored dozens of Orphanage Invitations for me and answered them when needed. Special Thanks also to Padraig Cooper, ancusohm and Geremy as well as my Proteges Roaries, Alaric Crane and Danoobiel who contributed lots of Making Waves with Lethal Duels and Chess Games besides other assistance. Thank You to all that helped my Proteges with Menace reduction! http://fallenlondon.storynexus.com/Profile/Delores
I am, at last, a Paramount Presence. No clue what profession I’ll go with once done with Renown.
And, if I’m not mistaken, that should make you the 77th Paramount Presence on this list.
What incredible timing! And posted on the seventh page too…
(Although my profile link on the list seems to be broken. And since my profession is in flux, we’ll need a replacement text… perhaps "pro Fluke-Core destroyer"?) edited by Optimatum on 8/26/2018
Tenterhook, a Glassman and the "Thirteenth Month", has just become a Paramount Presence. An unsettling presence, perhaps, but paramount nonetheless… edited by earthbourn on 8/28/2018
