We’re asking about Cityslicker because D1-E will be heavily Cityslicker-based (as later certain other sequences will be heavy on Doc and Gunslinger.)
Does anybody have a Comanche Charm?

I do as well, it sounded familiar, but I had to go check my inventory to be sure.
Just a heads up on our release timeline:
We expect to release Day 1/Afternoon into open beta tomorrow night.
We expect to release the majority of Day 1/Evening at the same time for our closed beta testers.
The rest of Day 1/Evening, which is a small mechanics-light bloc we hope will need minimal playtesting, will be released Saturday night.
The next release after Day 1 will be down the road; a timeline is TBD. That said, we hope/expect our next release will be the Nex-locked content we’ve been teasing on Absolom… :)
Day 1/Afternoon is now LIVE for everyone! Patch notes can be found below. We welcome your feedback!
Day 1/Evening (part 1) is also live for our closed beta testers. (Please be gentle, folks – we’re doing something radically different with our mechanics and haven’t had a lot of time to develop or playtest internally!)
BETA PATCH NOTES: DAY 1/AFTERNOON
[ul][li]Day 1/Afternoon is now available! It contains 50+ new storylets and “storylet-size” branches and will take ~150 Actions to play through.
[/li][li]The next installment of our main plot, The Texan Job, starts at Burrow and Briar and will see the Protagonist gain access to Pohoee’s garden party.
[/li][li]Players will be able to continue through the next installments of Hallowed Ground, Cutting Your Spurs, and The Harvestmen.
[/li][li]Grinds, including The Skunk Brothers Farm, have been expanded to allow players to raise their Styles up through 17.[/li][/ul]

I just logged in to Zero Summer and have found that I can’t advance to afternoon. I still need Time to Move On at 6 and I have that quality at only 4.
Have you finished both of your subplots and your main plot?
hmm, it would seem I’ve gotten stuck once more with no cards to pick at all(last card done was with the harvestmen). no clue if it might be linked to the man in black trait or not but it seems to have reset for me(i had it above 1 and it got set as 1 when took the more self centered option in the mentioned storyline)
Another Harvestmen card should fire after “The Unwitting Lovers,” which I assume was your last card.
What are your current ratings for:
- The Harvestmen
- An Evening Under Lamplight
- Location
@Catherine:
I think I may have fixed the problem you were having. Let me know if you’re able to advance to Afternoon now.
lets see, i don’t seem to have a location at the moment, Harvestmen is at 19 and i can’t see any trait/quality called ‘an evening under lamplight’
edited to add: time wise i seem to be in the evening currently

That’s concerning. An Evening Under Lamplight is the controlling Quality for this part of the game. It increases every time you play an Opportunity card during Day 1/Evening. Did you play through a bunch of Opportunity cards already? That’s the only way I can think of that you would lose it. (It’s reset once you’ve played through your Opp card allotment.)
Have you already finished one other subplot? Is your Postmaster’s Right Hand Quality 3?
Now that I think about it: what’s your Time To Move On?
Actually i hadn’t touched any opportunity cards yet since i got whisked right to the house basically with only pinned cards(did get some ground rules set the lady i accompanied), postmasters right hand is 3 yes
added edit: Time to move on is 1
added edit 2: all my subplots is basically finished here i’d guess, the spurs, the postmaster and the harvestmen

I’m deeply confused, but I think I know what happened. You may have slipped through a glitch I was fixing if you started playing right the moment you got the email. Let me do a manual fix real quick. Let me know if you see some Opportunity cards now.
Yay, opportunity cards huggles them protectively you cards really should stop hiding from me like this, you get me worried.
Thanks :)
added edit: would you be willing to up my men in black to 3 or atleast 2 with some progress toward 3(its sad to see my alignment less then it should be chuckles wryly assuming you are able)

No problem! Glad we could get you fixed up. It seems like you skipped the An Evening Under Lamplight card, which is responsible for giving you the An Evening Under Lamplight Quality. I’ve also reset your Man in Black to 5 to fix another little glitchlet.
