Also I don’t know who moderates the forum, but I accidentally clicked on the ‘report’ button for someone’s post because I’m on my phone and clumsy with it. >_< Please ignore that.
It is never specified what ethnicity Calo is, but I’ve always imagined her as a Caucasian/Mexican mix, although if you imagine her differently, that’s just fine too. Also, when first meeting her she revealed that Calo is actually short of “Flaca Loca,” which is Spanish for “Skinny Crazy Girl.”
I always get excited when I here people are making art inspired at least partially by our work. Is there any chance you might be willing to share these doodles at some point?
I do that on the daily, so I’m sure FBG is used to seeing it. :)
Will do :)

Hello, I’m trying to rid myself of the Jackal mark and one of the options is the Cross of Gold, which is says I can get from the Wall Market, but I can’t see it anywhere… is it perhaps an opportunity card, or am I missing something? :)
Ran into a bit of an issue this week while working my way through the game. It’s not blocking progress, but I’m wary of continuing due to the state my game is now in. When I reached the party during the evening of day one, just before I got access to the Opportunity deck after the explanation of the flow of time, I received what appeared to be a debug card.
It said something about a Harvestmen bug and asked me to click through to fix it. Confused, I went ahead and clicked through…and then it set my The Harvestmen quality to 14. This is odd because I’m not following that story - I’m doing Hallowed Ground and Cutting Your Spurs. Except now I have a quality for all three.
While it would be neat to actually play all of them in a single playthrough, I’ve already missed out on all of day one of The Harvestmen. Plus, I don’t know what might happen to the game logic if I have all three active at once. Is there anything you can do to help me out?

@Greyfalken: whoa dang! Yes that’s a pretty bad bug. It’s fixed now. What’s your character name? I’ll reset it for you.
@spiralx: that’s our bad: the card isn’t in yet. Expect to see it in the next couple of days.
Character name is Greyfalken. Also, I don’t know what cards during the party are related to which storylines (if any), but I did play a single Opportunity card after being hit by the bug (before I thought to go check out what was going on). It was The Dark Hungry Eyes of Elena Villalobos, so I have that quality at 1 now (if it matters).
Thanks for the help! The game is amazing and I’m looking forward to digging back in! :)
Glad you’re enjoying it! Your Harvestmen quality has been reset. The Dark Hungry Eyes quality is another questicle in Day 2/Evening; it’s entirely proper to raise it.
Thanks for writing!
Thanks, I’ll keep an eye out for it :)
I seem to have gotten stuck in an infinite loop of sorts: my white noise hit 7 after some bother with antagonists and now i’m stuck on the “In Time, All Things” storylet at the start. Picking “passed on” just uses up an action and puts me back to the same storylet.
my character name is Spacemarine9, i’m on Day 2 morning and i’ve got time to move on 3, if that helps anything. the storylet keeps setting Static to 1 and then looping back

I’ve got the same problem as Spacemarine9. This is my second time in the “white noise” area – first since the introductory trip there. The game date is May 22, 2026 - Morning. Bug, or am I doing something wrong?
My character name is Shemhazai.
Hey folks,
The White Noise loop is a bug – nothing you did! We’ll have a fix ready in the next couple of hours. Stay tuned, and thanks for writing!
The problem with White Noise should be resolved. Please let me know if it bugs out again, though. Thanks!
Works fine now, thanks!
Seemed sort of like it treated it as if it were my first time Behind the White Noise but the last time I was here it was a story related thing so maybe it’s supposed to do that, I dunno.

Yep – there was a misplaced min/max on that card. :)
The new batch of WHITE NOISE is now live!
Learn about the ravages of Junior. Rally the people of Rio Seco against him.
This new batch includes about as much content as the Casket of Amarillo and the Fangs of Summertime.
As always, please let us know if you find any bugs. The transition we’re using is a little futzy and it’s entirely possible that we dropped a thread.
(The Cross of Gold is also in.)
