I wouldn’t worry too hard. (For one thing, the “Hidden” qualities have not come back into the Story section.) Probably FBG is just tweaking the system. Maybe they’re even implementing my idea of putting the qualities from finishing Exceptional Stories into a separate section. ;-)
Did anyone with Obscurity happen to check its description? I assume it’s a hidden quality.[li]

It is a hidden quality, but I didn’t think to check.
Not exactly a surprise. Given its name, the fact that it was visible was almost certainly a bug all along.
I see no reason for those qualities to be hidden from the player. The main reason, I had always assumed, for this category was to have qualities that you can’t place them on your mantlepiece as they constitute private or plot relevant information. As long as you are blocked from doing so, which I assumed what this change was about, having access to these qualities on your profile can only be a feature
"You have no future", or something like this.
