When to buy Sunless Skies?

Howdy,

i haven’t been up to date with all announcements, but any recommendation when to buy this game?

For any game, no matter the hype, i refuse to be QA tester so i usually wait for the game to get polished, balanced, bugs removed, filled with extra content (hopefully DLC). Any announcement dates for DLC yet? Is game running ok today, after yesterday’s patch?

Unfortunately for gaming industry, it’s usually 1 year after inital release date and fortunately, this is getting closer.

I bought the game at KS, mostly to support the company, but I haven’t played yet as I understand they intend to add encounters that fill the world. I intend to play when these encounters are implemented.
