Donate to another player, use them as second chance attempts… that’s all? Seems rather limited, no?
Would be more interesting to sell them, or use them for crafting, collect them for a sub-quest etc.
Using them as second chances is use enough for me.
Yeah, keep them around, late-game there’s checks that aren’t 100% even with maxed stats and items.
Actually, more sources of some (dangerous & watchful) would be welcome. It’s a nasty surprise to start failing again so expensively this late in the game.
If my current experience is anything to go by, you’re going to need all the second chances you can get. Gone are the days when having all your stats over 200 meant that every single stat challenge was a cake-walk. I have built up a shedload of Shadowy ones over the years (due to my mysterious benefactor), and now I am glad I did. Still a little light on some of the others, mind.
Oh, you will want to keep them. As others have already mentioned, there are going to be some tough late-game rolls.
I don’t mind collecting them, but it’s annoying to have the newly acquired ones wasted because you already have 20 (21?) and can’t get more. And you can’t use 5 to raise your stat, since you maxed out.
You could always stop taking actions that acquire more.
