Quick questions! This is the thread for them!
I just logged in to find I have an "Encounter at the Feast" card that I can’t discard, and also can’t play because I lack some qualities. What in the blazes is going on? Don’t remember this ever happening before… Has the Feast of the Rose launched already? Nothing else seems to have appeared.
My mistake! I managed to discard it. Never mind. Still rather curious, though.

What is the current cap on Persusasive? My current stat seems high to me.

I have the same card. I’m planning on just holding on to it for a while and see if I can eventually play it.

It’s based on how many railway stations you have built for some reason. I have got as far as Burrow-Infra-Mump, so mine is currently 221. If you have built Moulin then I imagine it is 224 (providing the process carries on in the same way), as it has been going up by three each time I have built one.
It is rather outstripping some of the other stats currently, isn’t it?

It’s at least 223, and 224 seems reasonable given the explanation.

If you hold your mouse cursor over the stat, it will tell you what the cap currently is. No idea how you do it if you play on a phone, though.
I was just going to ask about that-- Perspective is indeed 224 now (with Moulin built), but Dangerous and Shadowy still top out at 212, right?
Presumably there are plans in place for those… one hopes.

Yep. Watchful should be at 218
Given how the cap on Dangerous involves dream-hunts, I’m expecting the Dangerous cap might involve whenever the Viscountess finally get around to doing her dream-war thing that was her election platform. Shadowy, I’m not sure.
She hasn’t been a very prominent figure this year. I would hope she’ll put on an appearance for the Feast of the Rose, seeing as her landlord is the main star of that show.

And now the card is gone.
I haven’t seen a dreams card to increase stormy-eyed (currently 12) since early December. Am I bugged? unlucky? or is there something I have to do that I’m missing?

Eventually you will progress your Dream quality all the way, and you won’t draw any more dream cards. At that point, your only option to increase Stormy-Eyed is zailing to Mutton Island and screaming at the wind. This is normal, and the solution is in no way apparent.

22! Thank you! I thought I was pretty familiar with the wiki, too, but just didn’t think of ALL the cards having an upper limit. Very much not apparent, indeed. Urchins are my last 40 renown item, so it looks like I’ll just be on Mutton Island screaming for…58 actions!
I’m having connection problems again. The game is dead slow, when it lets me log in at all. Anyone else?
This has been happening a lot lately. It’s noteworthy because I don’t have any other internet problems - it’s just Fallen London. Am I doing something wrong?

Yes, I’m having that problem too, that’s why I started reading the Forum instead of playing a few minutes ago.
