Who likes questions? I know I do! Which means I like 50% of this post so far! …it’s down to 33% and getting worse by the statement.
Is there any story that lets you lower Advancing the Liberation?
One option at the end of Lost in Reflections lets you set it to 0.
Excellent, thank you.
Question! Does “Your Soul Is Stained Now” in “A Serious Offer” cause one to trigger the Forgotten Quarter devil hunt? I want these intimate devils off my back for good (should have over-clocked the stat during Hallowmas) but I definitely don’t want to risk losing tens of thousands of Echoes by accidentally visiting the wrong part of town.
Hello! I took fate option to get ratwork velocipede. But did this unlock any extra storylets somewhere or is it just for nice item?

That only happens though if you actually sold your soul while it’s stained, which doesn’t happen during the Intimate of Devils-storyline. If you still have your (ugly) soul and that’s just how this storyline ended, nothing will happen to you and the devils won’t approach you again, unless you raise your Intimate of Devils to level 2 during the next Feast of the Rose.
Thank ye kindly, sir!

The Velocipede squad in Ladybones Road gets a continuation once you buy that story. You just do the carousel as usual, and choose the option to contiue.
I regretted playing the story though, because if you take it to its conclusion as a person with a conscience locks you out of the carousel permanently. You never lose the ratwork velocipede, though.

As time passes here down in the Neath, things like slightly better carousels and good EPA cards lose their power.
Things become about something else, something more!
I’m a week or so away from acquiring What Might Be A Thunderbolt and recall there being a way to make a bunch of money from refusing it initially? Can someone give me the best way to make money but not forego getting an item that took me a literal year to get to?
Basically each time you refuse it you gain 1 wounds and a 2.5 echo item. This doesn’t lock you out of accepting it, so you can refuse dozens of times. You can’t die in that location, either, so you can keep gaining wounds forever until you run out of Stormy Eyed. When you’re at 1 CP left of stormy eyed, accept the gift and leave.
This is only so-so profitability if you don’t have a cider, since once you leave, you still have to deal with those wounds. And having ~18 levels of wounds to remove at the boat takes no small amount of time. Though, if you happen to have a ton of horsehead amulets, you can use those to bump up the profitability (much better than just selling those amulets to the bazaar).
No worries, I need to play a lot of Chess against the Batman for my Presence goals anyway! Thanks for the heads up.
