Here’s this week’s quick questions thread!
I may have hurt my brain by asking some unwise questions. Now I am missing some 130 levels of Watchful. Are there any good Watchful grinds in terms of CP you get? I am pretty much in endgame in terms of content. Railroad is built (though not all stations are fully explored) and I have been waging some war in Parabola. Not been to the Khanate yet though.
Currently I am just using my actions to research some rifles or I sink them in the Sunken Embassy, all equipped with Equipment that lowers my watchful to make the challenges harder. Still seems like it will take a long time.
Any quicker ways to raise it?
The best ways to raise it are letters combined with patrons. Watchful letters (Shared Case File - Fallen London Wiki) will give you a full level for the first four and diminishing returns afterwards, reset by TtH. Paramount Presences can double teach stats up to the cap if they are your patron, meaning you can get something like 9 levels every week just from socials if someone is willing to devote all their Free Evenings

Right, I had totally forgotten about the watchful letters. That’s a great idea.
Thank you, Asarta.
Does anyone have suggestions what to do with Bessemer Steel post-railroad now that the rebuilding London has ended? I accidentally sold a skeleton to the wrong person and now have a couple of hundred Bessemer Steel I don’t need and can’t sell.
Maybe something will show up when TLUville comes around. In the meantime, you can smelt them into Steel and flip them for Hell favours on the Statue card in Marigold.
I guess I’ll be hanging out in Marigold, then. Thanks!
A market run by rats? What could possibly go wrong? :)
Anybody working on which items are most efficient to grind to exchange for Rat-shillings?
Hoards are time-consuming, but rather straightforward.
Maybe grinding ballads in the Underclay is the best way at the moment.
