How does the Hillchanger Tower trading work - do you have to collect at a different location from the last time you traded, or if you leave it uncollected for a few weeks and it returns to the place you last traded at, should you still be able to trade there?
I’ve been pretty lackadaisical about it, but have tried a few times to collect, and only just now noticed that it’s been weeks and I should have been able to collect ages ago - I didn’t pay attention to where I originally traded or where I’ve tried to collect this batch previously, so I’m not sure if it’s just that it’s always happened to be at the same location I did the original trade at the times I think to check and it’s correctly barring me because of that, or if I’ve run into a glitch. I’m pretty sure I never got the message telling me I could collect on it, which suggests a glitch, but I could have accidentally deleted it.
I can wait till Tuesday (and actually be sure I check this Tuesday this time) and see what happens when it changes, but it’d be nice to know how it’s supposed to work.

From what I remember of the first few weeks where it tended to stay at the same location on end, you can collect the moment the location flips over. And you can’t deliver a new shipment (as it were) until youwve collected your share.
I could be wrong, of course.

It didn’t literally stay in one place , it can’t. It flip flopped between two for weeks.
Reading the requirements, it must be in a different location than your most recent trade. So you can’t just eg only trade whenever it lands in Burgundy. I have not tested that myself, but that is a separate quality from the cooldown so it looks intentional.

Thanks, I’ll check it on Tuesday and see if I’m just flaky or not! Or rather, flaky and unlucky with location timing, I’m definitely flaky! :D

I think there’s also a Living Story that resets/randomly updates your Last Traded at quality if you don’t collect your due after one week:
So it might be possible to go back to collect your profits in the location where you originally sold the stuff after a few weeks if you haven’t done it already.

I can confirm that it is not possible to collect in the location you originally sold, even several weeks later.
What’s more, it seems like you can’t trade again in the location that your Hillchanger:Last Traded at lists, even if you have already collected your profit from it! When I checked today in Burgundy, I had nothing to collect and I was allowed to trade, even though yesterday in the Sous (my Last Traded at location), it just said I couldn’t collect yet because Hillchanger was in my Last Traded at location. I’m a little doubtful, b/c I really had thought I hadn’t collected yet, but I could definitely have been wrong about that.
That seems like an odd way to do it, but doesn’t seem like I was just glitching.
