Perhaps not the normal kind of question asked in this thread, but is there a subtle theological pun in how the Theologian of the Old School is a priest who pays in incorruptible biscuits?
Like, the incorruptible biscuits are hardtack, but priests also give out the Host, which before being blessed is bread, and after being blessed is the incorruptible body of Christ. And in addition, the priest refuses to change to new Neathy ways, so he’s ‘incorruptible’ in a way, too. Am I reading too much into this? (Also, apologies in advance for any offence: my question is not meant to be disrespectful.)
