I know this is kind out of the purview of the Fallen London universe but what would happen to the homes of the Royal Family in FL?

And why did Balmoral in particular fall?

Following on from that thought I’m unclear as to what has happened to the UK in general. I remember one ES where one or more of the colonies were talking of breaking away, but what is Britain’s status? Is it independent from London, or governed from far below?

I usually go for breeding somnolent hyenas. I can’t recall which path it is off the top of my head, though.

For anybody with lab access or railway (or any other realiable 2.5 epa grind) … just grind, buy shrieks from bazaar, mass upconvert. That should result in at least 1.388 epa. (Breeding is under 1.37 epa.)

Also keep an eye for Tomb Colonies Favours, they give 210 shrieks per favour. Also, while they may have changed this, repeatedly dismantling a Human Ribcage has 3.125 EPA and is rather easy to do.
