Here’s this week’s thread for quick questions!
I’ve been spending my Church favors at the palace for Inspired…, which I’ve been cashing in by completing commissions at Helicon House. I have almost 10k Nodules of Warm Amber now. What am I supposed to do with all that? Sticking more limbs on a skeleton to multiply its value doesn’t seem like a winning proposition, since you can only handle 4 exhaustion per week regardless of whether you get that with 4 1-exhaustion skeletons every week or one 16-exhaustion skeletons every month.
I suppose the real answer is that I should either do something else with the Inspired or the Church favors, but what? Demolish the statue of myself at Jericho and replace it with one to the Bishop of Saint Fiacre’s? The Preeminent Scholar of the Correspondence statue only eats one favor per draw, so it won’t keep up with the favors from A Jurisdictional Dispute. The Sinking Synod option on that card gives 3e of materials in addition to the favor, so I kind of want to keep playing it every time it comes up
Which board members are the easiest to convince to vote for dividends?
Personally, I go with Contrarian, Jenny, Furnace, and September. All fairly easy Persuasive checks, as long as you remember to get the Contrarian’s vote first (or have the Fingerking-Moot). The Rubbery Yes-Man is also a near-guaranteed success, but it does mean you have to clear debt by some other means than adding and removing the Tentacled Entrepreneur.
Which board members are the easiest to convince to vote for dividends?
If you don’t have a Worker Ownership charter, these are the board members who can be convinced with 100% success:
- The Jovial Contrarian (if you have at least 5 board members, or the Portable Fingerking Moot from last Hallowmas)[/li][li]The Gracious Widow[/li][li]The Viscountess of the Viric Jungle (with at most 2 corporate debt)[/li][li]The Hell-Scarred Gondolier[/li][li]September[/li][li]The Rubbery Yes-Man[/li][li]The Drummer
With Worker Ownership, there are some more options:
[ul][li]Sinning Jenny
[/li][li]The Bishop of Southwark[/li][li]Furnace[/li][li]April[/li][li]The Wandering Gondolier[/li][li]Cornelius[/li][/ul]
The people listed in bold are those who can also be convinced to vote the Tentacled Entrepreneur off the board with 100% success (which is relevant if you’re trying to clear debt by repeatedly inviting him).

Thank you, exactly what I had in mind.
Anyone got an echo for what the creditor thinks of your double as their bride? Curious as to what changes if you don’t give it Furnace.
Yes, I do. https://www.fallenlondon.com/profile/cathyr19355/22721352
I can’t find any indication that the story is otherwise different, though. Feel free to page through my character’s journal. I am sad, though. I was trying to help Furnace, and Cornelius, but it seems that I would have made more people happy if I’d just planted the Shard in Furnace.
Thanks a bunch!!!
