Is there some one specific Ship that’s considered “the best” for the endgame?
The upgraded ships you can get from the Shipwright in Gaider’s Mourn are strictly better than the baseline ships you can acquire in Wolfstacks. The Shipwright is back today! He won’t be back until September! Go visit him if your ship is normal!
Among the Tier 2 options, it’s more a matter of preference. The Obstinate-class is considered best for Piracy, if that’s something you want to spend a lot of time on. Otherwise the speedy ship ocassionally saves you an action while Zailing, and the other two have some nice bonus actions here and there.
Yeah, I meant some consensus between Tier 2 options. I wasn’t sure which one to pick for my upgrade : ). But Obstinate-class looks great, thanks!
If I give up my T2 destiny for a T1 destiny during a festival, can I upgrade to a T2 destiny during the same festival? Looking at the wiki it seems I can get the Promissory Note with Destined 1 regardless of other qualities (like Meddling with the Future). Has anybody tried?

Yup, I’ve downgraded and re-upgraded my Destiny a few times to see the different text. You can do the upgrade whenever.

Is there an easy way to find in the wiki the most difficult challenges to 100% for each stat? (i.e. the stat level after which getting more items to make it even higher stops being useful for any action in the game.)
The highway stats have a Highest Challenges section on their pages. For the others, you could query a list of challenges for the stat.
