Hi!
I’m playing Sunless Sea on a 2023 MacBook Air and I got some visual troubles.
First of all, in fullscreen mode, the upper part of the screen is cut out.
Normally I wouldn’t mind, except for the fact that the fuel bar is also cut out… I can see the number of the remaining barrels, but not the bar itself, and it’s a huge problem.
The only solution seems to be to play in windowed mode, but… meh…
Second, my cursor is not well calibrated… to click on a box I usually have to point it not directly on the box, but a little higher, and it’s quite annoying.
I tried all the video options available in the menu, but to no avail.
Has anybody got those same problems? And how you solved them?
Thank you so much!
It does sound a bit like a resolution error. Have you checked the game’s fits your screen’s?
Hi! Thanks for the reply!
You mean inside the game’s option?
I tried to change the resolution but I’m stuck with 1710x1107 and I can only make the scale of the UI bigger, so worsen the problem.
If you mean something else, could you explain me how to do it?
Thank you!
I did mean the ingame option. If you can’t change it, it points to a bigger issue. Have you tried uninstalling and installing it again?
Yes, a couple of times and nothing changes…
I also tried to check the “adapt to scale under the camera” (or something like that, it’s not in english) checkbox of the Sunless Sea application and to change the dimension of the screen, but nothing.
