Due to an overwhelming outpouring of admiration from the citizens of London for Her Majesty and her beloved consort, The Department of Parks and Game apologetically announce that access to the city will be restricted temporarily this evening at 17:30 Greenwich Mean Time.
(There will be approximately half an hour of unscheduled down time in Fallen London to improve server capacity, to alleviate performance issues caused by demand for the Christmas Tree event)

Unfortunately whatever you did doesn’t seem to have worked. A Festive Fir is still very laggy.
It is really bad, the game is utterly unplayable.
Seems like things are a lot better this morning, though that could just be because of the time of day.
We’ve also just made some structural changes to the tree-bothering activity that we hope will alleviate some of the issues from yesterday!
It lags a bit (less than 5 sec) when you try to leave or enter Tree Area. But actions here are pretty fast, almost no delay. I guess real test will begin when US morning time arrives.
