I bought and played a ton of Sunless Sea on my laptop while I was on a work trip for several months. Now, I have returned and was wondering how to properly move my character and/or saved game to my desktop. Is there a way to transfer saves through the Steam Cloud-thing or is there a file I simply copy and paste into the proper folder?
I’m worried about my fabulous Yacht, I’ve only just got the poor thing out of dry dock.
Yes, just copy files from your ‘saves’ folder.
How did you obtain the Yacht?
You get the Yacht as a possible reward from completing the Curator’s quest.
Huh. It was not offered when I completed it, unless I missed something… always possible.
I believe the AppData folder is hidden on windows so if you can’t find it you’ll need to enable showing hidden files.
You get to choose from:
A bunch of Secrets (or maybe it’s Fragments?)
A collection of Captivating Treasures (7 I think?)

OK, yep: when I ran through it there were only 3 options, not including the Yacht :-(. Oy veh.
