Are you only supposed to be able to get the weapon that increases Mithridacy once and that’s it? Once it goes away it’s gone forever? Because everytime I try to return, I can only ever get the flasks of water and that’s it.

I did not (and never became) a Crooked-Cross. And I do not have it stilol in my inventory, I got it when I was able to over 3 weeks ago.

That sounds like a bug, I’ve gotten and lost it without any trouble maybe 3-5 times since it appeared. You might want to try and contact support about it…
The patch notes a few weeks back mentioned fixing a bug where the Living Story that clears your Glowing Viric wouldn’t trigger. You probably feel victim to that bug. I would email support.
