The entire front page of The Unexpurgated London Gazette is dominated by a story paid for by the Admiralty. Another lifeberg of unusual size and appetite has been spotted in the Salt Steppe, and appears to be headed for the city. Peppered amidst descriptions of the lifeberg’s indiscriminate eating habits are exhortations to ‘JOIN THE CITIZENS’ ARMADA’ and ‘DO YOUR PART’. Aren’t threats like this what the Admiralty is for?
A lifeberg has once again sallied forth from the cold to take vengeance for its kin! You can track and bombard the Ravenous Lifeberg if you have a ship and at least one base point in Monstrous Anatomy. Look for ‘Hunting the Beasts of the Zee’, accessible from the Cabin aboard your ship. The event will run until the lifeberg is destroyed, with rewards from the Admiralty available afterwards in Wolfstack Docks.
It’s a pain in the rear to fight it but if you have at least one level of Monstrous Anatomy and a ton of Dangerous, it’s manageable. Please help. You can find me in-game as JCSterling.
Just another action sink before the next big in-game event.
I play a bit then head back to London. I need actions to farm scrips (and raise my Making Waves before Time the Healer comes).
That said, 3x Valorous Deeds redeems two Unlawful Devices, which give 50 scrips in total. Not very efficient even with a Monster Hunter profession, but better than nothing at all.
Remember to equip a Troubled Waters reducing item when you’re sailing. Having a Zub and the Monster Hunter profession helps a bit too.
Still extremely curious what happens when one makes landfall. Will this be the one? Well… apparently not until the Admiralty runs out of wedding gowns to pay with.
