The Mayoral Election 1897

CORRECTION: From Hannah on the Discord, while the festival will close at noon BST today, the results won’t be announced until a little later at 4pm BST, or about five and a half hours from now.

So I assume we simply exchange our reputation now.

The election cards in my deck cannot be played or removed from my deck. Should I expect those cards to naturally disappear in time?

Cashing in all my reputation gave my Mourning Candle collection a nice bump.

I had spent all of mine on MW, luckily got Notability up to 7 in good time before the Election.

I didn’t realize you were grinding MW, Calliope. Feel free to hit me up for social actions if you’d like.

Oy! I busted my ass to get full Lvl 20 for Campaigner, and I never once got a chance to choose a candidate! What the hell is up with the RNG!? I wasted all that time building up reputation I could’ve been spending on expensive items! Seriously, what the hell?

You choose candidates from the main Election storylet. Not the cards.

I say, hosting all those balls was good fun! Even though that wretched Virginia stole her victory, all the stolen kisses and touching love stories from those election balls made my efforts worth it. Coincidentally, I also managed to grind my Notability to a 7 before the results came out.

I also grinded my notability, to a respectable 5.
From which i finally became a monster hunter.
A productive election i must say.

Given the winner, that seems an expedient choice.

I agree, i may have voted for her but no one was ever sorry for keeping a little something up their sleeves when they deal with a devil.

That so? I don’t recall ever choosing one. And I remember getting one card for Mrs. Plenty I think that had an option to choose her as a candidate, but I didn’t want to. I mean, my choice was gonna be Shoshana, whom I knew would lose, but all the same :/

You only get to choose candidates from the main election storylet on the second week, the Candidate Cards are more for info gathering than picking the person to vote for.

To clarify, it is possible to pick who you’re voting for from the candidate cards starting in the second week if you haven’t declared your support for anyone yet - but starting in the second week there is also a separate place that’s always there in the election storylet where you can choose any candidate any time.
