Apparently someone (I think it was in this thread) said their Suspicion hit 8 at one point. However, as is common knowledge, menaces can only affect you when you’re in London, so no worries.
I mentioned over in the “Acknowledgeable Achievements and Accoutrements” thread that I had hit Suspicion 8 while at the Iron Republic, and it was sufficiently alarming to me that I gave up going through the loop in the storyline even though I’d been trying to collect as much Changed By the Iron Republic as possible at the time. I had forgotten that they only throw you in jail if you’re in London.
I had noticed there were a lot of “your (whatever) is now 6!” sorts of events, and wondered if it was actually possible to get to 8 in any Menace before it was reset to another number. Turns out, it is. There’s one story branch that takes you back to Day 8 (or some early numbered day, I don’t remember for certain) and if you keep going through that loop you accumulate Suspicion at the very least. I don’t remember if I accruing other Menaces as well, or if they kept being reset to a particular number.
That loop resets nightmares at the very least, and wounds as well if you fail a luck check in the middle. With sufficient steadfast, there doesn’t seem to be a way to accidentally break out of the loop, either, since most failed checks will still take you back eventually to the choice that starts it again.
edit: Suspicion also gets reset at one point during the loop if you fail a luck check.

Can anyone inform me how that little quirk boosting fate option works?
Is it a “set you to x” kind of thing, or an actual CP boost?
Given the text, I’d guess it’s a CP increase.
Are there any unexplored branches of the IR that I should look at? I am about to get there. Also is there a google doc or something with a list of what links to what? I know some people said they were making their own spreadsheets.
