The Hourglass Association

Estelle hesitates. The man obviously want her in the warehouse for some reason, but it is hot. And her Rubbery friends are blowing into their instruments - a distress call! She runs around the building to see Fluke-Bore engaged in a tug-o-war against several drownies. Their object of contest is a man she hasn’t seen before. A top hat floats nearby. Rubbery waves to her before joining in to assist Fluke-Bore in trying to pull the unconscious man ashore against the drownies.

Estelle frowns at the scene, then pulls out a small bottle and uncork it, screaming in unison with the noise released from the bottle. When she’s done, she throws the now useless bottle, which bounce off cleanly off a drownie’s head.
'What do you think is the best way to flush her out?&quot
&quotContinue to follow the campaigners and watch which ones break away.&quot
&quotOr we could use the horn.&quot
&quotBut, why?&quot
&quotShe’s picked a fight with the devils. She would certainly break away if she thought they were here.&quot
&quotYou just want to use this horn, don’t you?&quot
&quotWhat’s the point of stealing a horn from the Infernal Hunt if I never get to use it?&quot
&quotYou just want to cause trouble today, don’t you?&quot
Dirae Erinyes gives a grin. &quotI have my reasons.&quot

An echoing hunting horn will explode out through the square, causing panic.
Evensong watches the bicyclist with careful eyes.
The group of campaigners cycles on obliviously to the infernal hunt. Neither the campaigners nor Illyria has been exposed to the roughest part of the Neath; some other civilians scream and cries and hide, and several truly dauntless campaigners sings hymns to counter that.

&quotWell, at least it make those bicyclist easier to follow. Let’s see where they led us.&quot

Soon, the Game-Carver arrived to the commotion through a nearby backdoor, carrying a rather large and varied set of resources. Several Bazaar Permits and Infernal Contracts poke out from the double-handful of… stuff. Souls, mostly. Brass and gems. Something you thing might’ve been a wooden idol.

The Euphemian, as soon as they witness the Founder, Koldun, begin to put down the amalgamation of scrap in their hands. Slowly…

The Rubberies seem to be winning the tug, less thanks to their strength or number, but to the now-noticeable tiredness of the Drownie…

Finally, the items are safely put away, and the Game-Carver grips for their blade and unleashes their weapon to pierce the Drownie’s heart. Possibly lungs. They are in basically the same spot, and some leeway is required for melee fights. Still, ruthless offence is occuring! Murder and blood!

[OOC: Anyone still here?]

[ooc: yes, still thinking. should we wait for koldun?]

[OOC: Probably not. I’d say that there should’ve been a warning somewhere along the way about not participating for more than 3 weeks. I don’t wish to antagonize Koldun, but we cannot wait forever for a response from him. Let’s get the RP moving again.]

OOC: I’m busy stalking poor Kol but the rest of you can probably continue with whatever you found in the warehouse. I’m sure Dirae Erinyes will catch up with you when they are finished being a menace to London traffic.

Morkan simply nods at the weary Captain. He extends a hand to Zoe. &quotLet’s get to Concord, I need to report the situation. And you will be safer there.&quot

&quotAlwigh.&quot

Zoe stands and follow the Boastful Captain, but not before thanking the another Captain. &quotThank you for the 'elp, Captain.&quot She slaps her forehead. &quotOr thank ya both for your 'elp, captains.&quot

Morkan leads Zoe out and hails a hansom cab, then ushers her onto it. &quotWe are not going to walk there, it is quite a distance and you should rest.&quot

The road was bumpy and they pass by many civilians on edge and the occasional scream, but they arrive without any complication.

Entering the bastion of Constables, he leads Zoe through halls and staircases and hallways, but a Constable stops them when they try to enter a certain office. &quotA tip, the Chief’s in a bad mood now, friend. Best let him calm down a little and make sure you have something he wants to hear.&quot

Morkan nods and simply usher Zoe to a nearby bench instead. He turns to explain to her. &quotI need to wait for a friend first. What do you want to tell the Chief?&quot

Illyria adds in lyrics about petitioning for more constables to maintain order on the streets. Originally going to stop at a church, the crowd of cycling campaigners changed their minds for an ad-hoc petition at Concord Square for more constables to quell public panic, When the crowd of campaigners arrive and begin crowding the entrance to Concord Square, Illyria slips into the building. She rushes to the office where Morkan and Zoe are waiting outside of.

Evensong is adept at finding people in a crowd- it’s an important skill in the service of Foreign Office work. Dirae Erinyes, an experienced operative will slip into the back of the building. Of course, they really don’t know what they are looking for and will probably stumble into the crowd by per luck and accident rather then through any real detective skill.

Estelle pulls the man ashore and pokes him randomly for signs of life. The man still breathes, but remains unconscious. At a loss of what to do, she signals her companions to come over and give the man some assisted breathing. When even all the tentacles failed to make the man stir, she signals for the man to be carried off and follows along, leaving the weird Bird-Lover alone.

OOC: Hello everyone. I’m so very sorry I had not responded for an incredibly long period of time. I had a busy couple of months. I hope to restart this thread if possible.

I’m wiling to. Also willing to restart the honey dream phantom as well.

[OOC: Well, I’m still in the forums. If everyone else is up for continuing this or the Phantom, I’m in.]
