Good afternoon everyone! Names Soriel, I work for the constables, and try to keep all of London from going insane, including myself! I play as a fairly melancholy detective who works mainly for the constabulary and is almost constantly over nightmares 5, a side effect of the job 'eh? Hello, I’m Calliope, or Callie for short! It’s just about been three months for me in FL, and I have been playing it every day! I love the setting, one of my faves in any piece of media, and is the sole reason why Sunless Seas is on my Wishlist along with Skies despite the latter being effectively an ‘upgrade’ of the former mechanically, purely because More Lore, and because I’m literally much closer to the Zee than the mysterious Skies in FL.
In additional interests, I basically spend my free time watching Let’s Plays of games on youtube, and very occasionally getting enough energy to play them myself! (another thing I really like about FL is that it’s both suited for short bursts and also does not drain my energy to play, so it’s basically perfect for my brain) Hope you all have a great time here, with me or otherwise. :3

My character is Klaada Magna, formerly a surface archeologist who shed her name upon fleeing to London because of certain uncouth bounty hunters who were hot on her trail. She now seeks a better life under the comforting shrouds of the Neath.

Good evening, I don’t think I have posted here. Hi, I am Spooky, your friendly Goth Gamer. Been playing about 3 years now and going strong. I like coming up with complicated characters and seeing how they react to a variety of issues. I am not particularly interested in PvP, but we can discuss character clashes or disagreements. I like Table Top Gaming, Numbers Stations, Goth Dancing, and wlw culture.
I am playing Countess Caroline Karnstein, The Moral Hedonist, a mysterious Austrian woman who have layers and layers of secrets to be uncovered. Some secrets involve a few liberties with the setting but attempts have been made to keep her as close to default setting as possible, and such is not even her deepest and darkest secret. SAs are welcome, and it is always fun to get more people involved in her schemes.
She might be known to other characters for her Salon, The Labrys, which often has all female meetings and supports Nocturnals or Mycologenes and almost any school of female artists and writers. Of course all sorts of scandalous rumors are attached to it, and it is somewhat inspired by Natalie Clifford Barney’s historical Parisian Salon (itself inspired by Sappho’s school, as is Caroline’s). Alternately, a character may take an interest in the fact she is well connected to nearly any faction and the intrigues of the city a simple bohemian shouldn’t.

I created an account because I wanted interact more with the fanbase of the game. It’s been five months since I started playing and this game scratch a particular itch of mine with its mix of gothic influence, mystery, black humor, oneiric reality, metaphysical conjecture and, most importantly, sadness and tragedy.
