Hello all. I joined in December after Sunless Sea and falling in love with the world. I’m really enjoying all of the new stories and learning more about the world of Fallen London. I’d love to make new acquaintances and get more involved with the community. I am very active, putting in my 40 actions a day. I enjoy raising my stats through second chances and am happy to respond to any such social invitations as well as any others. Glad to be here, I look forward to seeing you all in London.
Good Evening, all hands. I’ve played Fallen London on and off for a year or three.
I’ve mostly just flailed about aimlessly, but have recently taken an interest in really advancing my story.
My brother is a Zee-Captain, off having adventures of his own, and I wish him well. Heard some strange whispers of what he might be up to, but they don’t seem to affect me much, here. I just wish he would stop chanting about the sun, the sun, all the time.
Looking forward to meeting some of you folks.
Greetings Sirs, Madams, and… er… Cephalopods
I came by way of Sunless Sea, and have never found a dank, mushroom-filled city I liked more.
Available for all socialising, merry japery, posting of rodents, and am willing to be a patron to those who want it.

Ahoy, delicious friends! I’m absinthey, I started playing Fallen London recently after seeing posts about it on Autostraddle, and I find it all extremely delightful- there’s nothing I like more than a good Victorian (and monstrous) romp. My other main interests are all literature and activism related. I’m a student in real life, and it’s very stressful, so I like a nice fantastical break sometimes, as well as coffee, tea, anime, and costume dramas! Honestly, I’m just a geek and an anglophile (and http://fallenlondon.storynexus.com/Profile/angelred on FL). In game, I’m aspiring to romance some women (possibly the sardonic singer? what a lady!), work on the poet-business, and be very scandalous :)

Good Evening everyone.
I play Fallen London and Sunless Sea and am addicted to both. I am looking for contacts, a mentor, and people to trade with.
I am juggling the idea currently (at a very slow pace) of writing an intro for a table top RPG version of the games world. I want to present something to prove it will be up to snuff if I do in fact do it.
Hello everyone.
I used to play and absolutely loved my time with Fallen London, but I eventually had too many instances of "I know I should remember this character or previous plot point but don’t" and sadly quit. I have regretted that many times since but stayed strong. Sunless Skies was announced and I thought "I’ll buy it when it comes out to support Failbetter, but I won’t play it. I am done with the Neath." Then the Kickstarter launched and was funded so fast. I wavered. Coffee appear in my Facebook feed. I wavered more. A comic I read posted some Fallen London comics. It was getting hard to resist. A House of Many Doors launched and my resistance crumbled (even though it isn’t FL related of course). So, I’m back. I deactivated my old account unfortunately (biggest regret of my life right now), so I’m started fresh since as far as I know deactivated accounts aren’t recoverable.
Feb. 11 update Coming back was harder than I thought it would be. There is so much I have to redo (not bad in itself, it’s just something I’d rather do alongside new progress) and it feels so lonely. I didn’t notice when I originally played, and might not notice if I was new to this, but the social actions available early on are the things everyone doesn’t want to accept. The Feast is not something that is new player friendly, which again isn’t a problem in itself- it is just one more thing I can not interact with all of you on. It all leaves me with a feeling of being left behind, so this is good bye again. May the Neath treat you well.
Hello everyone.
So, I’m back. I deactivated my old account unfortunately (biggest regret of my life right now), so I’m started fresh since as far as I know deactivated accounts aren’t recoverable.
finitehp, dearest, the link you’ve provided is to your old account, which is, sadly, deactivated. Once you’ve started a new player, update your link. I’d find it a pleasure to help you get back into the game.
Good evening, all!
I’ve been playing on and off for years now. When I started, it was called "Echo Bazaar" and MAN was I enamored with it. I may have accidentally pulled all-nighters waiting in ten-minute clips for a new action. (Also, the name change happened during one of my not-playing stints, and it really threw me for a loop when I tried to find it and it was called something different.)
Anyway, I couldn’t find/remember that old account (or the twitter account I had made for it), so last year (or maybe the year before? (or was it 2014?..)) I started fresh. I’ve been playing pretty regularly for about six months now (which is helped by having real-life friends who also play).
Even with all that, it’s taken me this long to join these merry forums, so here I am correcting that little error on my part. It’s fantastic to meet you all, and I look forward to seeing you in and about this wondrous city of ours.
Yours,
Maximillian Creed

Sorry about that. The link actually was for my new account. After posting I thought to contact support to see about reactivating my old account and deactivated the new one until I knew if I could get the old back. I didn’t think to remove the link as I thought no one would care. I forgot how nice you all are. The new is now back and the link works again.

Good evening, everyone!
I’m Casper, a person of mysterious and indistinct gender (and one who is very glad for the opportunity to choose that as a gender option! it was awesome!!) and I was introduced to the Neath through Fallen London but plan to play Sunless Seas soon and am very excited for Sunless Skies!
I write a lot and draw badly, and what drew me toward Fallen London was the writing style used in the game.
Good morrow! I am ER, a student and scholar of fair repute. My characters are the great but mostly unsung Rita Remarke, who will run headfirst into the unknown, especially if people are watching. Tabby Reid is my baby, a hopeless romantic former-urchin who is as deadly as they are pissed, and they’re a lot in the ways of both.
Heyo! I’ve been playing Fallen London on and off over the past couple of years and I finally decided to stop being a wuss and introduce myself on the forums. I’m always down to RP and interact with other players, so hit me up since I’m generally friendly and could always use more friends.
Good evening. Like many new players, it seems, I was introduced to Fallen London via Sunless Sea, which I bought because reviewers called it well-written. They weren’t wrong, but right now I’m enjoying Fallen London itself more than Sunless Sea. (It’s a great game, but I keep dying!) I’m a compulsive writer myself, but right now my current novel is on hold while I slowly carve out my dissertation. That’s the problem with real life – too much grinding. Fallen London is currently assuaging a certain amount of my frustration with that situation. Perhaps too much so.
Hieronymus Drake is an old-fashioned English gentleman in the mold of the “Great White Hunter” of the period. He’s prickly and rather pompous on the exterior, but kind and patient under that, but hard and ruthless on another, perhaps deeper level. He is quite fascinated with the mysteries of the Neath, and for some time he thought of himself primarily as a professor at the University, with bare-knuckle boxing, monster-hunting and dueling as mere hobbies. However, recent events have made him question that self-image. He thinks he’s a Henry Morton Stanley but he’s really more an Allan Quatermain. Also notably inspired by Sir Alistair Hammerlock.
Tanith Wyrmwood is a mercurial, swashbuckling thief. She loves daring heists and rooftop chases. However, she’s not as dauntless as Drake, and she’s a bit dismayed by the grim turn her Light-Fingered Ambition has taken. She’s a former urchin with a keen wit but little formal education (and her “voice” is more contemporary and less in-period than Drake’s). Her Bohemian contacts and acceptance at the Palace have made her wonder whether she could leave the Flit behind – and whether she wants to. While Drake is Watchful and Dangerous, Tanith is Shadowy and Persuasive.
Flesh-Stick: UH OH, WE’RE NOT GONNA HAVE A LITTLE PROBLEM ARE WE? As for Bubba, if he can kick my ass then he can have it. Fair’s fair, after all.

Distinguished gentlemen, fair ladies, and beings hiding in the fog - a good evening to you all.
My name is Bertrand Lyndon, a former Sergeant in the British Army. I moved to the Neath around Christmas (or should I say Sackmas?) and I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon. I must say I found that London is more welcoming than I dared to hope.
I welcome most social interactions (the exception being cat boxes, SMEN content and - most of the time - loitering) either roleplayed (in that case, I reply in kind) or not.
P.S.: I try my best, but English isn’t my first language, so I make mistakes from time to time. Please be patient with me.
Bloody hell this town is harder to navigate than the Bearing Sea. Glad I managed to stumble upon you. A drink, quickly! What do you mean what color? Anyway…
Alexander von Conrad is the name. Nobility is the occupation. Dialogue is the passion. Love is ephemeral. Money is… an issue.
It is my first visit to your viciously exciting city, and I must admit monologue gets rather monotonous. Do write a letter if you are eager to teach an old dog new tricks, or simply if you wish to converse. I spend most of my time at the Singing Mandrake, ask around, someone will give you my address.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I feel an irresistible urge to explain my financial situation to that beautiful horned lady over there. Good day!
Good evening ladies, gentlemen, and every conscious beings that do not narrow themselves to those labels !
I am please to announce the start of my journey in your inviting town. I hope to find here exciting wonders and discover new horizons. I am open-minded so don’t hesitate to share story and game with this playful traveler.
Now, i need to get back on the road. Until next time !
Good evening, ladies, gentlemen, and others.
Two new Londoners, at your service: Jean ‘Jehan’ Prouvaire, a young revolutionary and Romantic (based on Jean Prouvaire from Les Misérables), and Victor Frankenstein, a haunted and obsessive scientist (based on Victor Frankenstein from the 1831 edition of Frankenstein).
Prouvaire was in London when it fell, visiting a writer friend; he was eventually arrested and has only just escaped New Newgate.
Frankenstein has no memory of xir life on the surface, but xir nightmares, and the pages of notes xe found hidden in xir cell, leads xem to believe it’s probably for the best xe’s left the surface.
Good evening distinguished ladies, gentlemen, and variations thereupon.
My name is Avery Cadogan, at your service. I find myself eagerly exploring this exciting new adventure and would welcome most social interactions.
I look forward to making your acquaintance.
Kind regards,
an entity of indistinct gender
