Thanks I missed the extra details in the Patch Notes.
A suggestion for future FotZ: for those of us with excess corals, and don’t want to trade them for items we already have, perhaps they can be used for some annual ‘lottery’ game.
FotZ is an excellent event to get into for pre-POSI beginners.
Straightforward, accessible, many stat-boosting gears, free destiny, easily farm for expendable items.
Of course, pre-POSI means you can’t get the FoTZ ship… that’s why there’s always next year. ![]()
I misunderstood some stuff so I didn’t get all the times you can only get by diving. No big loss, considering what those items are, but I am slightly miffed nonetheless.
Don’t forget to cash in your last favours!
So, do I understand this correctly: after every visit to the Pale Tabernacle, you need luck to draw the rare card again that lets you start the Agent Plot, and only when that’s concluded can you zail there again?
Correct, you have to find it again each time because it moves. The whole process is in practice a bit unwieldy because drawing the zailing card may take a while, and then you may not have a Plot free up for another while.
How does the math work out, is it actually useful to go there frequently? Or does everything key off of amount of the quality you gain, so just keep building it up and then spend it all at once, and it doesn’t matter how long it takes to get there?
Correct, payout is proportional to quality accrued. The one thing in favor of more frequent visits is the payout from the Plot itself.
The Agents guide on the Wiki doesn’t quite reflect this, as it notates potential Rat Market profit for Intelligencier plots but not the Tabernacle. Still, it’s got some travel overhead, especially if it’s not on the way to the Khanate.
The full story takes at least 5 visits. Maybe more, I’m not sure yet. Slowest of burns, which considering the subject matter is quite appropriate.
