The Bazaar grows Bazaarer

Ta for the feedback, folks!

Actually, we’re going to need that space for Phase 3. :)

Will phase 3 include pricing by weight, conversion rates (on Echoes, Great Neathy Pounds and Furry Pence), a button which makes a auspicious noise and dynamic buy/sell prices based on fluxes in the Bazaarine stock market? I’ve always thought the Bazaar wouldn’t really be complete without them.

edit: i meant suspicious noise but I think I prefer the autocorrect-proposed suggestion

I like the sound of phase 3. Clearly, auspicious noise is the only answer, and valuing surface currency with conversion rates so that I can convert my Rubles to Furry Pence is an invaluable service.

Perhaps this will also include the functionality to send my penguin on grocery runs?

EDIT: Also, I want a penguin. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&ved=0CEAQtwIwAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DvDN3L621ASI&ei=ViyuUeDgO-fL0wGM0IHgDw&usg=AFQjCNFrxtOtb78FVjnoZjuaeCmfhObWzA&sig2=cdO1fbqhlkF96NE2d1hFog&bvm=bv.47244034,d.dmQ

Graphs which show price development, fluid prices and more? Time to begin pack-ratting?

I predict a new PvP system in which cartels of Londoners engage in EVE Online style market manipulation. The extra space is to allow trade in futures, options, and eventually derivatives of devious and anachronistic sophistication.

Mortgage your Bazaar Premises! Leverage the capital and drive your rivals into penury! Revel in the realisation that Fallen London was intended as a satire on 21st century financial excess, all along…

Alexis, if you make this happen, you can have my Starveling Cat.

Dramatic Tension in the Audience

These ideas are all way better than the actual phase 3, which is just to fill the space with the words BUY NEX and a picture of a sad kitten.[li]

once again proof we live in the least amusing of all possible realities

You mean CAN HAS NEXBURGER, surely?
[/li]

Perhaps a compromise is in order? How about a picture of a sad penguin?

Does this “Phase 3” by any chance include additional content? Exciting in any event, if I do say so myself.

"Sell my things"is certainly convenient as an all-in-one. However, flavour is again lost. And it is multi-page so that sales of multiple things at once is not advantaged. I do batch sales of different goods of various values in the same trip.

Keep “Sell my things”, but I would prefer the sell feature be added back to the various businesses. Yes, it duplicates, which goes against the grain of efficient programmers, but it gives the option of retaining flavour.

Further, categories should be rationalized a bit more into a couple more different stores. After all, F.F. Gebrant’s is mentioned in the “Tell me another thing” sidebar and should be a stop for all things pharmaceutical. The goal should be to only have to deal with one page of goods in each shops. Specialists, eh? Yet there are ambiguous items, like the Rattus fabers. Just allow duplication in more than one store.

It’s already true that each shop only has one page of goods – none of them sell more than 30 items.

I’ve noticed another issue: when opening the window to make a sale/purchase, the value in the box isn’t selected. So I can’t simply type ‘800’ if I wish to sell that many items - that results in a value of ‘8001’.

As far as ‘Sell My Things’ goes, could we maybe have an option of an alphabetical listing? That way, if I don’t know how much money I’ll get from something if I sell it, I might be able to find it more easily?
Also, with the buy and sell price on different pages (and the sell price hidden until you own something), things like the Scuttering Squad have a rather overly cruel surprise for those who purchase them without knowing that their sell price is dramatically less than half of the purchase price (similarly with other, similar items).

I agree.

I really don’t like the new ‘new’ setup. The one that came before was easier to manage and wasn’t nearly as buggy. I tried buying a cheap weapon, wasn’t told I bought it, and bought another by accident. Thankfully cheap trades (50 pence) but I have as many troubles with selling.

I’ve also received the bug where the selling dialogue box remains open and doesn’t display the ‘sold’ message. The items are sold, but the number I have (in the little grey circle) doesn’t update in the dialogue box.

Me too. I’ve just sold 500 glim twice when I only meant to sell it once.

I would also like to be able to sell ravens. I accidentally uplifted one more raven than I need!

I can sell my ravens without issue. What bug are you two running into?
