The 19th Annual Interactive Fiction Competition...

… is open to voting. You can download the games or play them online here. At least one of the entries is a Storynexus game.

Any one who hasn’t entered the competition can judge. The only requirement is a valid email address, although for your votes to be counted, you must rate at least five games. You can sign up here.

Discussion mostly happens at intfiction.org. If you just want to know which entries are worth playing, former Fallen London contributor and generally awesome interactive fiction writer/theorist Emily Short will be posting reviews.

This is the IF community’s big annual event: if you’re interested in getting a sense of what’s going on in text-based gaming beyond Storynexus, this is a good place to start.
