I’ve been sick in bed this week, but that’s given me time to finish the latest chapter. It’s a team task - always fun to see who’s been teamed up with who.

Aw, this one was genuinely lovely. Got me misty-eyed in more than a couple spots. I did have to google Sardanapalus, but it distracted little. I really love the way you characterized how each contestant would look at this one, and Mr. Task’s grumpy attitude surrounding some of the films. Wonderful work as always! (Can’t wait to see who wins!)

I had to improvise the tiebreaker because I realised that, when I’d planned out the tasks, I’d somehow given two contestants the wrong number of points. If anything looked like clever foreshadowing in there, rest assured that it wasn’t!

This is my fave task out of them all so far, I think. I’m missing who F.F’s tat is about (manager?) but I thoroughly enjoyed both the Pirate Poets and Aprils designs. April especially. That is quite in character! wonderful work.
Thanks so much! During her election campaign, we learned that F.F. is in a marriage of convenience with her best friend - he’s the one in the audience. Thus, if the FLPC ever happens to have a romance or any sort of romp with F.F., it’s with her husband’s consent - he’s happy for her to have some fun, and they’ll meet back at the house for a cuppa when she’s done!

Glorious- the line " as if arming the proletariat was the kind of accident that could happen to anyone" is a work of genius I say, genius! And man, the epilogue is very fun to consider- what if the stags were sleeper agents all along?
