I’m glad I found this corner of the Singing Mandrake, sharing the pain that is the waiting for the Amanuensis.

I thought I had everything prepared. This Chrismas I will get my Spire-Emporium of the Bazaar! How naive…

I finally came out of the shadows and became a Person of Some Importance. Little did I know that the route to Notability wasn’t as easy as just Making Waves.

And now I’m stranded. I’m haunted and exhausted cause I walk the streets of Fallen London for days on no end, searching for even a glimpse of Slowcake’s Amanuensis. My search became to frantic, over 10 hours every day now.
He just wouldn’t show and I think in my current state, he wouldn’t even recognise me and certainly not alter my entry in Slowcake’s Exceptionals to the better…

I would really appreciate it if one of you notable citizens could help me in this times of despair. I’m sure we will find a way for me to express my gratitude to your satisfaction.

I accidentally converted my all notability into watchful, instead of grabbing the regular surprise package from the Bazaar. The day the Wicket opens, of all times.

Anyway, if anyone could spare a fool some notability, it would be appreciated.

I have enough BRD that raising my Notability from 1 to 2 takes only a single MW and then I can summon the Amanuensis with only 5 MW and help the above if I can just get that first point.

I just traded in three Notability for a suite, which leaves me with a point to spare for anyone who needs it.

It’s no problem on my side: with 29 BDR I can get to 4 N with the MW I get from advancing the previous levels, and I’m keeping it a low level for now either way =)

So it turns out that keeping the Amanuensis in your hand isn’t a sneaky way to get around this problem. Pulling it from your Lodgings still uses up the card already in your hand, which seems harsh.

Yep. This is true for other similar branches as well. If you use Favourable Circumstances to draw a card, the same happens.

I can give Notability on Eris Jay / thedeadlymoose. Offer stands while the Wicket is open. (I can easily get MW and I’m at N2.)

Can anyone help offer me a bone and garner some Notability?

I let mine expire whilst floundering around trying to work out how to get a state to 200 and am now stuck.
In game my characters name is Ram B. Tious
If anyone can help I’d appreciate it muchly and can offer quite a lot in return, I have a lot of things stockpiled.
