SMEN Betrayals, looking for fresh fresh betrayals!

Leonard seeks for secrets. This time he seeks for one that shall not be spoken, one that may explain the strange voices he has been hearing from wells ever since he first escaped to London a month ago. Knock the number on his window and he will open it to listen to you.

(I just drew my third or fourth well card in that young account. If I’m sending any of my characters up NORTH, I think he might be destined for it.)
It is my pleasure to help Leonard start his journey to the North…
Thank you, your help is appreciated. He wishes you the best (worst) in your journey.

I have stories to tell. Let me know if you’re foolish enough to listen.

I think having a set of his own organs in a jar is something any respectable Psycho Bandit ought to strive for, so if any one of you fine people would be willing to betray Fleshy so he can get SMEN 1, that would be just lovely of you :)

http://fallenlondon.storynexus.com/Profile/A%20stone%20pig is looking to be betrayed (which really doesn’t make it much of a betrayal does it?)

I still am too :P

Delicious Friend, check your mail… ;)

@Kukapetal - are you sure that Fleshy is eligible for being betrayed? I couldn’t send you the right message…

I wasn’t able to, either. Might Fleshy be Free from the Name? I’m pretty sure that stops you from being betrayed. (Though not from Seeking, if you start some other way.)

You know, I think you two are right. I was betrayed for real by my mentor last year and got SMEN 1, which I then had to get rid of. I didn’t know that would make me ineligible for future betrayals (I don’t know much about SMEN).

Guess I’ll have to raise it the hard way then. Thanks to both of you for trying to help me out :)

I still seek more to betray…msg me in game and I’ll start you down the path http://fallenlondon.storynexus.com/Profile/Mr%20Grim

Single Friend seeks betrayal.
I would like to go North. And I would prefer if nothing were to remain of me.

I’m looking for people to betray :)

The lovely Ester Carrowing ( http://fallenlondon.storynexus.com/Profile/Ester%20Carrowing ) is looking for people receptive to bold new ideas, and wishes to talk to them at length about certain practices.

Feel free to contact me by PM or an in-game message if you are, for some reason, interested in being betrayed.

Freed from the Name wasn’t an automatic preclusion of future betrayals, but FBG changed the way it works so that a character cannot be multiply betrayed.

I’m looking for people to betray, it’s easier if they want to know about the Name…

Edit: No more.

I’m looking for two courageous souls who are willing to take on the Name, so that I may progress in my quest of self destruction. Send me a letter if you’re interested.

Your eyes settle on a bedraggled Correspondent carrying a jar filled with…pulsing organs? Before you can run away, he meets your gaze and immediately paces towards you. You try to run for the nearest exit, but the hallways seem to continue endlessly, the gas lamps and candles taking a crimson hue, and the madman drawing ever so closer…until you are safely at your lodgings. You sigh a breath of relief, only to realize that the Correspondent has slipped a note into your pocket stating:

“Greetings, my name is Den Blackwell and I am looking for six others such as yourself to teach about going NORTH.”

“In your dreams, you must have seen it, the direction forever haunting your waking nightmares. The heads of the Baptist singing about North, the wells that speak of betrayal, the omnipresent number, and the candles that refuse to go extinguished. I can teach you about what it all means, and you will too know of the chains and scars borne by the Drowned Man: all you have to do is reply back. THE RECKONING WILL NOT BE POSTPONED INDEFINITELY!”
