Please be aware that for the new "back and forth" social actions like chess, you can only play with one person at a time. This means if you just fire off at several people at once, one of them will be able to accept and the rest will have to sit there twiddling their thumbs until finished. Perhaps try spreading out your actions (send a brawl to one, dinner to another, loiter to a third…) or try and catch when your friend is available to resolve the social action quickly?
