Hello people. So, I sometimes get the selling one’s soul card for City Vices, and I was wondering if it were worth the effort and cost of selling one’s soul for the POSI price. I know you get a Valuable item for doing so, but it recently became harder to reobtain said soul. I was wondering if it was worth the effort to sell, attempt to reclaim either by fate or by packages, and rinse and repeat.
Note, I’m NOT just talking about Echoes per action, though feel free to add that as well.
I don’t think it’s worth it if you’re going to put a lot of time and effort into reclaiming your soul. It might be nice as an very occasional thing you can do, though. One’s Public is usually pretty good, and if you get Surprise Packages from an Unsigned Message then it’ll probably be worth the 2 action cost in the long run. Adding the chance to get a 312 echoes from one of them will make these actions even better, even if it does cost an extra action to turn in.
Using Fate might get pretty expensive. At the moment the price jumps from 15 to 20 after reclaiming it once through Fate, and it’s pretty likely that the price will increase by 5 each time you repeat that process.
