Seeking Mr Eaten's name
If it is all just the game between what’s it called and the white…

it still feels as if there’s two extra players. Candles and the flukes just don’t seem to fit in the original scheming, and they seem to be trying to twist the game to thier own goals…

And yha, maybe salt DID change things in going east…
I’ve thought for a while now that each of the Candles might represent some force or figure of the Neath. So far, my only solid guess-other than the obvious Fortigan is Salt or The White- has been that Storm might be Arthur, since Arthur was said to have thrown out someone that Fortigan brought in; just as Storm ate the Fluke messengers of The Hungry Monarch in Sunless Sea and has chosen to keep the Bazaar safe for 7 cities.

If I sacrifice all my lodgings, does this remove my Salon and its Scheme cp?

It won’t instantly remove your salon, you will have a choice to buy the lodgings back when you sacrifice all lodgings, and if you do it you will keep your salon(note that it will throw you into an option that requires different items to buy the lodging, but you can still go to the Bazaar and buy it from there before you choose the option that would destroy your salon).

Darn… well I’m not planning to do it until next year, so I guess I’ll have to find a way to spend all that salon scheme CP in the meantime.
I have manufactured one calling card.

Whoever asks for it may have it.
Teaspoon, if you’re still looking to offload this, my alt, Capwell, will be capping Watchful and hitting SMEN 21 in a couple of weeks; a ticket to Winking Isle would be much appreciated.

Something weird is going on here

The rubbery man picture is striking back!

That’s Estelle’s seeker alt - all one big joke, I’m pretty sure. There are ways to echo text not in the game, after all.

Good work by Estelle, then! I laughed myself silly over those Cosmic Vices :D

It’s possible to echo text from other StoryNexus games to the journal. I suspect Estelle has been making one for this joke.

As a new Seeker I had an awful moment of regret for clicking through here, followed by a good laugh when I realized what I was reading. Nice one :)

And the rubbery man shall be left as a mystery…

The rubbery man is one of the cameos available through the FL mobile app, I believe.

Talk about lore! The things we could learn…[li]

Okay, I am deeply confused. I had SMEN 70, when I went South. I spoke with Nicator and chose Hate. Along the way I got a couple levels of SMEN. Then I went for Gawain’s, and got it (and my new hat!)… which gave me +1 SMEN.[li]

I now have SMEN 75. I’m two short.

Maybe this is just me misreading something, but I thought I was doing this correctly, and would end up with 77 SMEN. Did I miss something? I was able to get another Hollow Heart. Can I go South again, and get two more levels?

I really thought I was done with Winking Isle. I was really, really hoping I was done with Winking Isle. Just when I thought I was out, they drag me back in![/li][li]
[/li][li](Edited because apparently, as well as being over-eager, I also can’t spell)[/li][li]

You can go south again, and how much SMEN you gain depends on your choices.

Thank you! So going South is repeatable? Seems like a great way to avoid a lot of circling the well…

I have a Winking Isle question. So because I didn’t quite plan properly in my self-destruction, I won’t be able to get Destin’s until the Fruits of the Zee festival at the earliest (since I sold everything to go to Winking Isle and it’ll take me about that long to grind up Notability anyway probably) and am presumably locked out of the rest of the candles until I can get Destin’s. So, what level of SMEN should I stop at on Winking Isle so that I’m able to hit 77 when I go get Destin’s → Gawain in one horrible fell swoop?

You can go South again, but I don’t know if all options will be there for you. How many SMEN points you get depends on your choices there. If you’ve already made choices which gave less SMEN, you’ll probably have to go to Winking Isle for the remaining points.

(For this reason I made sure to not leave Winking Isle before reaching SMEN 77, just in case).
