Though usually you don’t have to be an evil person to seek(im pretty sure most of the evil options you have can be skipped in one way or another).[/quote]
You do have to betray a certain number of people/cats, though. Not too terrible, but not very nice either.
I suppose most of the stuff you do just harms/kills you, so not too terrible? All in the name of zealousness?
It’s been done, and it does work. Obviously a pretty expensive choice though.
I’ll never forget her scream of "tharakathrotiiiiIIIII" as she fell down.
That was the spouse I happened to have, sooo…

If you sacrifice your daughter… do you still get the card from doing the fate content? (like how you get the gift from… well, the gift, and the card)
IT WORKS
A hansom at midnight
Your Noman quite obviously thinks the plans are its own inspiration. It makes its preparations in secret: hoarding, scribbling, dreaming. On the night when it leaves, it stands by your bed. For a moment, it seems as if it intends to leave you with a parting kiss, but it turns and shuffles to the door. You move discreetly to the window once it enters the street, to watch it speak to the muffled driver of the hansom cab. ‘North,’ the Noman says. ‘North.’
Your ‘Noman’s Friend’ Quality has gone!
Your ‘Noman’ Quality has gone!
The scent that summons the false saints.
You now have 1 x The Stench of Betrayal
Iirc the option in the Nadir and the Capering Relicker still worked. Could’ve been bugs for all I knew
The Nadir option requires the Daughter, so if you sacrifice the Daughter that option locks. The alternate Capering Relicker gift does not lock as it only requires the story quality and can be used if you haven’t finished the story, chose the other ending, or in this case lost the Daughter.
What do you mean?
Does anyone know if we can chuck a Nomen down a well?
Yep, it works and everything.
Yup, I’ve got it echoed too, as well as posted just up there.
Oh, and anybody looking to get started who could use being betrayed into it? I’m chasing the candle tonight.
They’re referring to a different option, on the Winking Isle, for St…Cerise I believe? It’s one that’s more drastic, violent, and profitable.
ooooh, yes I intend to ALSO echo that one, I just need some people to sacrifice themselves so I can get aurthor.
My alt is available for betraying if you need a hapless victim.
Thank you. Expect the note of doom as soon as I get the turns back up … (Just betrayed a jewel thief and a courtisan)
Sadly, I think something might have gone wrong…

Hello, Seekers.
It happens that having a damned Starveling cat and being a trader in souls, while seeking for what must not be sought, opens up to an opportunity card.
I know that it’s fate-locked, but could someone pm me what will happen on failure/success?
I am pretty sure nothing good could come from it, but I am just freezingly scared by how much could it be bad.

PM’d, Frenzgyn! (For everyone else, if you’re curious - it’s actually a pretty good card, but 'tis Fatelocked so no details here.)
Is it just for spirifers? If so, I’d also like a PM.
Never thought there have been a day I will have said this but…
Good cat, Straveling! Good cat! Come here for some petti- OUCH!"
(Thanks, Barselaar!)
Never heard of this card before, so I’d be interested to know more about it! :)
