Question - Does anyone know what’s going on with the Heart’s Ambition Seeking tie-in?
I’ve heard of it, but no idea what’s going on with that.

You need to get the master’s attention. the best way to do that is to… well… take something away from them so they want to perform the marvelous. there’s three options- one if using the revolution, one by planning to aquire a city, and one by seeking. each time, well… [the winged ones are not free of desires, nor uninterested in such a game.] [vanity of vanities, all is vanity]
I hope that the journey, and it’s culmination, are all that you hope for, and more. (I’d have said "Best of luck!" but that’s kind of absurd to say about anything related to Seeking.) :-)

So I’ve seen the actions involved with getting Saint Gaiwan’s Candle, but I only know one of the possible costs and consequences. Would anyone mind enlightening me? I know that you becoming Gaiwan’s Candle involves severing your head and having to wear it as a hat for the rest of the game, lest something negative and ominous occurs (I honestly don’t know if it’s just a bluff or not if you take it off). What I don’t know is what happens when you sacrifice the scarecrow zombie thing (both in a story and mechanical perspective) or when you sacrifice the priest (just from a mechanical perspective on this one).

I’m right there with you, I also avoided spoilers for the most part. I’m at smen 65, and will get 8 levels when I go for Erzulie through Gawain in one big rush towards the end. So just one more loop of WI, and the act of nabbing the final candles is all I have left before I can follow. But I’m right behind you in spirit haha.
I think you can only get 7 levels from E-G, but if you’re at 65 and going to get another 7 from WI before you get the candles, it won’t matter!
It looks like DemonicFerret echoed sacrificing the priest, and Hans Serpico echoed sacrificing the guardian. They both went NORTH so they must’ve got St Gawain’s Candle out of it, but they didn’t include any notes with their echoes.

As I understand, the other two options just give the quality directly rather than an equippable item with it.
You can get an extra point on G if you choose all the correct options, but yeah it won’t really matter for me as I goofed and wasn’t able to get to 69 exactly on the isle. Ah well, what’s one more loop haha.

Hello, I’ve just entered the Nightmare Carnival and seem to be trapped after mistakenly going with only 139 memories of light. I believe I’ve tried every available option with the exception of being scorched by the sun and succeeding the chess match luck check. Would anyone happen to know what to do? Thanks in advance!
I believe your only path is to drive yourself insane to escape. Then work on getting the needed items and try again.
Ah, the perfidies of RNG. I spent several days attempting to recover my soul at zee so that I could stain it, and now that I’ve decided to give up on that and just pay Fate instead, I’m unable to draw the “Where’s my Soul?” card.
At least I got a free point of SMEN from an option at the end of the latest Exceptional Story.

Is it possible to get more than one of the seven fold knock? Could you, say, get seven of them?
