Yes, it just took me three attempts to post something there until I realised what words are not to be spoken.
Can someone please PM me with some explanation as to what is this test of a certain amount of things? Where is this found and how does one do this test?
This is not the easiest conversation to follow…
Not following this path but I have the card in my hand, PM sent to dov.
Well. Now we can steal fire.
This turn of events leaves me uneasy. But reassurance ill befits anyway.

Bugger.[li]
Can you remove abominable somehow?
Yes, but it’s slow. On the restitution card, donating to the Church or the poor removes a little.

i have no idea if i’m in a terrible position or the best possible position any more
The rat game continues. Even more.
I have to say, I’m not particularly fond of the ‘we’re all at each other’s throats’ flavor that this quest has taken lately. I mean, it fits, it really does, and I’m not going to argue that it shouldn’t be this way, but I liked it more when we were all merrily skipping towards the well arm-in-arm. Perhaps whistling a cheerful tune about our impending damnation.
Well, we don’t HAVE to. I certainly don’t intend to attack a fellow quester unless they attack me first.

Huhwhat? I am so confused now. Is there something new?[li]
I know what you mean. I’ve always tried to be friendly and helpful to other players, even in this quest, and I’ve been glad that there’s stuff like the K&C pact where some players actively avoid the betrayal options. Games can be simulators for bad behavior, but they can also be simulators for good behavior.
It would be pretty interesting if there was a mass dropout once the quest inevitably hits "you must betray all the other players" stage.
I won’t either, but it’s not just that. The new option that lets you do the thing, and the text from ‘Revel in the error that will not be spoken of’ both state in plain terms that all of us are enemies. I liked it more when we were united in our damnation.

The text need not be the final authority on my character, especially when it comes to his thoughts and motivations. I decided some time ago that not all waxward souls are my enemies, so it continues to be the case that not all waxward souls are my enemies. Fallen London, and this storyline in particular, are works of collaborative fiction. Alexis has an enormous amount of power over the story, but it is not absolute. At worst, he can force me to opt out and write my own ending.
Yes, exactly. Just because we’re told we’re enemies, doesn’t mean we have to be - us forumites can be a breakaway group of allies united in our quest for damnation if we choose!
Well I don’t know about you but I’ve lost seventeen things today. And Alexis has all of them
On the other hand, I did manage to both kill and imprison him, so it was worth it.
Theres no room for all of us to walk the path. It is far too narrow.
But we can still push eachother up.
Lets watch out for these fire thieves people.
On a side note, What effect doss it have?
Could someone explain what the fire related stuff is?
Fire thieves? Edit to add PM please[li]

Well, I can’t steal fire, but I got to shoot mind bullets at Alexis.
As for the fire… next time you get a chance to atone for your sins, read all of your options.[li]

Luckily, not all of us have the special bond that the two of you share.
