Seeking a Chain Letter [Mr. Eaten's Calling Card]
Then please for my alt, KharsirrSeeker. Could you?
It is done. Ask, and ye shall receive. Seek, and ye shall find.

Ops, indeed!
Thank you anyway and may it light Kharsirr’s path!

My compass needle swings North and, against my better judgement, I am mortifying my flesh and possessions to discover the ultimate truth.

I lie at SMEN 22 and aim to be able find my own way to the perdition that is the Winking Isle in a month’s time.

But why wait a month … why not now - to more quickly flense my flesh. If you have a Mr Eaten’s calling card that can be given to me for a short time before I pass it on - please contact me or send it through.

My thanks in damnation.

My alt likewise has begun to mortify the flesh, mind, and spirit and is in search of an entirely unwise implement for an entirely unwise decision. Should a calling card appear upon their doorstep, I’m sure they would be most appreciative… while anything of them remains.

Last evening I met a man - his name isn’t important but what he did for me is. When we parted, he pushed a slip of pasteboard into my hand and we parted without looking back.

This weekend, I shall sleep with it beneath my pillow …

If someone further on the path has no more use for their card, Tenterhook is seeking passage to the Isle. They’ll gladly pass it on to the next poor fool when the journey is complete.

I resolved: &quotNo More&quot. Better some other fool continue the quest. I slipped the Card beneath the door of Tenterhook.

The card seemed slightly sticky, as if it were reluctant to pass from my fingers, but still it passed beneath the door.

I returned to my lodging and, horror, another card on my pillow. Certainly a different card, but essentially the same.

I must continue my own quest, it seems.

Many thanks for your kind assistance on my quest of self-destruction.

Simon Beaufell would absolutely love a card. Weirdly enough.

While I can’t post a link to his (my secondary) profile for some reason, Antal Révay would indeed also like a card, please.

My time has finally come. If you no longer require a Calling Card, I would be … pleased? grieved? … to obtain one.

Update: thanks to the Northbound Fanatic, I have a Card.

My dear husband Chandrakant beseeched me to enquire about this calling card, for he has been mighty fruitless on his own.
Probably because how curmudgeonly he is around strangers these days.

Much obliged, if one has a card to spare.

Daily and hourly
I labor and toil
I hunger and thirst
I grieve and I hate
Seven years clicking the mouse
Seven faces wandering the Neath
Seven Deaths to scar the body
Seven Chains to hollow the mind
Seven Stains and the bottle breaks.
Seven times I’ve turned back,
before or after the Gold
before or after a candle or two’s worth of suffering
before I lost my head…
before so many things…
We might not die, but we grow so old here
A madness of melancholy

I am afraid that I will approach the Avid Horizon one last time.

I am afraid that I will burn there at the Gate.

I am afraid that to know is to awaken
That the dream will flee forever
But Seven times is Seven times too many

A reckoning will not be postponed indefinitely

Same to you. I found another way to build SMEN and just dumped the card on a rando. Who knows if they’ll even use it. My bad. The

I have a calling card on my alt, but it will take me some time to actually use it. If you really need it, I will lend it to you (from personal experience, a few weeks should be enough).

I do need it now, though it might take me longer than a few weeks to do it.
