BREAKING NEWS: I was on my way back to my lodgings to contemplate the finding an enemy’s weakness carousal at Parabola for Antique mysteries vs bland train riding, when I noticed THIS non-repeatable storylet there. Has anyone else gotten it? I’m assuming it’s Go Tell The King of Cats players-exclusive after how the Turbulent Tabby won over many of our hearts, including my own against all expectations?

I’m seeing it in my Lodgings.

The first unlock looks like it’s the season capstone for the Season of Animals? I guess we traded in the portrait for the Season, but now we’re getting it back from Christmas. Quite pleased :)

The portrait was one of those curios you would get at the end of an exceptional adventure, that you would turn in for a precious item at the end of the season. The Fallen London staff would like you to have the portrait of the worst cat back. I’m excited to find out why.

Wow! I emailed support a few days ago asking them to get rid of the season of endeavours storylet from my account as I wished to keep my portrait of a tabby and had no desire to give it up to whichever Urchin showed up at the door to take it. Got an email from support today saying the following:

I didn’t realise he’d have fixed it for everyone else as well! Big props for Failbetter, I hope everyone is as pleased with the security of their tabby as I am!

Is that the actual reason we’re getting the painting back? I love that.

Oh my goodness, this is lovely. I was so sad to lose that painting! :inlove:

That is delightful thank you Failbetter.

What a treat! Thanks FBG!

MY BOY! Oh man, I’m happy this is a thing now

Wow, I was legitimately bummed to see this item go in the past. I’ve gotten a lot of useful stuff in FL this year, but getting this item back in particular made me really happy. Thanks for that one FBG, it went straight back up on my mantel.

What a delight. This reminds me of the weaseler.

Absolutely thrilled to get this back. It had had pride of place on my mantelpice, which has been empty for too long and now it is back. Of course, I burst into tears all over again when it came. That story was amazing.

It was an amazing story. Glad you got yours back.
