I go by Lonenut these days, and I find myself in need of guidance. While I have made a bit of a name for myself around town, this is a dangerous place. I’ve been spending my time in the 'neath trying to understand the order and construction of the place. I’ve been working with the constabulary, because while they may sometimes be misguided, I believe that order and peace makes a just society for most.

I am most recently arrived in Fallen London in the most preposterous fashion – aboard ship. Very well, I shall grant that in itself is not preposterous or unbelievable in the least. However, when I inform you that I recall nothing of life prior to falling into the Zea near Irem where a passing Zea-captain rescued me you may justifiably be less credulous. None the less, such is the truth.
Currently I am seeking my place in life. I am quite fond of trading secrets with the cats, but not so fond of the petty illegalities that pervade the streets of Spite. I am as yet unsure of my goals, until I learn more I fear I can not but choose poorly, but my innate tendencies will doubtless prevail – leading me towards activities of an investigative or duplicitous nature. In my dreams I would be a consulting detective, in my more plausible ones I fear I shall end up a spy, in the best of my dreams I am like a spider in the center of a darkened web – aware of everything, yet unknown.
I should like at this time to announce that I have been graced by a Shadowy Patron. I look forward to some day being in a position which will allow me to in turn favor new arrivals as such myself.

G’day Delicious Friends!
I’ve been in Fallen London for a bit now and I will be quite honest, I’m not much of an intellectual sort. I learned from a young age that you can solve most of your problems with some strong muscles and a good grip around a pipe. I’ve hunted rats, sorrow spiders, beaten Smilin’ Jack at his own game, and taken care of problems for all sorts of folks. I’ve learned that there is always a bigger, meaner fish though, someone that can always beat you down. So I figured, why beat around the bush and take the blows when you can find the biggest and meanest folk you can find.
I live on Watchmaker’s Hill, eking out an existence here and there. I want to find myself a leviathan of the streets, someone who has broken a face on every corner and has enough bodies notched in their belt to make Jack blush. I’ve been roaming these streets now for quite some time. And for some days I have been thinking about expanding my… interests and talents.
While it may be rewarding and challenging enough to hone ones skills among those with a black ribbon for some, I now want something more.
And I am searching for someone to share his or her experience and knowledge. And I’d show myself most grateful, be sure of that.
What I search to improve is my subtlety, my cunning. As of now the ways of the Spite are not… my forte.

I am a bit of an odd situation as I seem to recall descending to London back in the dim and distant, and haven’t been active for a number of years until Sunless Sea reinvigorated my interest. I never got too far initially, and am now making a more concerted effort to improve myself.
I have been delving into the Shadowy worlds, and am still fairly limited, not having made any significant use of the Flit [Edit 25/2/16: Have now robbed the Brass Embassy. That’ll end well…] and still getting in trouble with the constabulary.
