A very long time ago I have dabbled in a affair with a Honey-Sipping Heiress. We have not had much contact for a long while and now I am even becoming Someone on the natural order of things, which may make the arrival of the specific storylet a good deal harder.
I wish to end our affair but I do not think I have ever seen a storylet for that purpose. I am currently on the “Seduction: Honey-sipping heiress 6 - Days of Honey and Roses” level.
Is there any way to end our affair?
There will eventually be an opportunity card that’ll give you options for ending your affair. If you’re reaching PoSI you’ve probably seen it multiple times already as choosing other options on the card let you continue the story anew.
You don’t need to end the affair if you’re looking for a Constant Companion though. My alt account is sitting at the same level as you and has been happily married to a Celebrated Artist’s Model for some time.

As odd as it may seem, I haven’t met any storylets that allow to end my affair. I may have progressed through Persuasive too quickly.
And that’s a relief. I suppose I should keep the Venture active until I find a way of ending it.
I think I used the stat reduction items while in Veilgarden to close out that one. You might have already progressed too far though.

It’s not capped at a certain level. My main account is capped on Persuasive and I’m taking honey with the Heiress once more. The end card is just really rare I think. And easy to discard without noticing. It’s called “Time to Bid Farewell to the Honey-Sipping Heiress” and has three choices. Although, now that I’m looking at it on the Wiki, it appears that all the options re-set to 2 for the Seduction quality. I just always choose to talk things over with her. So there really is no end to it, it seems.
Perhaps Failbetter had further plans for her at one point in time?
There actually is an option to end the affair - but at a different point. If you choose to [color=FFFFFF]Pursue her no further [/color]at Seduction 2, the quality will become 10 - A Conquest Forgotten and there will be no possibility to, well, pursue her any further.
I still wish she was an option for a Constant Companion. After all, by the point you can start thinking about those, the status problem is fixed, right?

There are many I wish could be Constant Companions, but I might just give up the wait for the Once-Dashing Smuggler for this Heiress.
