Postcards[Spoilers]

Compiled a listing for all the areas I could find via the postcard link.

ie. http://echobazaar.failbettergames.com/Content/Postcard?areaid=1

change the last number and you can view the postcard for that area.

Some lack images, some lack text and for some the only way to get any info at all is from viewing the source.

All names taken from the source are enclosed in parenthesis.

Fascinating! Your research is much appreciated!

“The Mind of a Long-Dead God”

Heavens to Murgatroyd.

VERY interesting!

If I’m not mistaken, a long-dead god was also mentioned when I researched the overgoat (an option on the new “common pet” card for him; the one you can choose if like me you are nowhere near owning one.)

44 (A small, velvet lined box)[/quote]

yeah, that’s a creepy one. Although I’m still debating about trying for it just to see Audrey Junior break me out. : )

I don’t know about the Mind. One of the sidebars suggest the whole of Fallen London resides in a cave from the skull of a dead god. Not sure if this is supposed to be a deeper area or what.

I’m guessing the Circus of Dreams is where they did testing for Night Circus. The Lab is obviously a test area, if a bit ironic considering the text.

I wonder if it’s related to the long-teased Enigma ambition… if that ever even happens, heh.

12 (Way Down In The Hole) ???

This is the place where incorrect storylets are moved to. It has an archive/paper bin function. (Therefore, it won’t ever be possible to get there, except with bugs)

Interesting.

I know it is silly but I hope we might one day see it. Be neat to see what’s all in there.

I did eventually make it to “A small, velvet lined box”. Was a good way to gain Burial of the Dead.:)

I think the Enigma Ambition was something that was tossed around very early in making Fallen London, but the idea was scrapped a long time ago.
I don’t think there are any plans to resurrect it.

I think what you’d find way down in a hole is Mr Eaten.

I assume this doesn’t work anymore? Or am I not doing it properly?

Doesn’t work for me either, but I expect it used to work.

Yeah, went away about the same time as the ability to echo to FB/Twitter.

There were some storylet text access issues associated with it, probably a good thing it is gone.
