I’m close to liquidating all assets in pursuit of a certain caprine entity. I seem to recall that there are a number of assets that can be changed out via opportunities more profitably (i.e., better than just grinding 3-5 EPA actions) than through direct sale at the Bazaar. These include:
[ul][li]Converting rats to rostygold via Claim Bounty for Dead Rats at the Dept of Menace Eradication (assuming you have enough rats to make the action cost worthwhile).[/li][li]Converting Trade Secrets to enigmas and mysteries via item usage.[/li][li]Trading souls for nevercold brass (spirifers only).[/li][li]Upconverting Tier 4 to Tier 5 items (mainly in the hopes of a rare success).[/li][li]Excess hinterland scrip to tinned hams for sale.[/li][li]Collections of curiosities to maps via the Tomb Colonies card.[/li][li]Investigate infernal fashions at the Clay Tailor’s to convert Rumors of the Upper River if you have maximally luxurious railway cars; do this before you cash out your jasmine leaves.
[/li][li]All jasmine leaves via the Gracious Widow on the Upper River smuggling card (requires the Widow to be on your Railway board).
[/li][/ul]And while not directly sellable, one should also remember to convert these items to things that are sellable:
[ul][li]Scraps to whatever best a relicker will offer.[/li][li]Attar to extraordinary implications in Arbor.[/li][li]Accumulated osteological items to bone fragments.[/li][li]Open those surprise packages.
[/li][/ul]Other trade-ins that are probably not cost-effective if you have access to a good grind include:
- Wine conversions via a Presumptuous Opportunity (3-4 EPA for the first three conversions).
