I’d love to make some new acquaintances.
I’d like to keep a reasonable number of Influence slots free for the hinted-at future uses, and I really don’t want to snub anyone (besides nefarious Hallowmas betrayers, of course). So please don’t send me any more messageless calling cards unless we know each other, a little. It probably won’t do us much good to be acquainted with great multitudes, anyway – especially if it gets in the way of developing a few more intimate ones.
That said, if your contact list is sparse and you’re just not sure who to add, let me know. What I’m trying to avoid: using all my remaining slots on becoming the fifteenth or fiftieth acquaintance of someone who both has no need of me and is unlikely to contact me for anything more interesting than the odd, and oddly impersonal, private dinner.

There’s always the option of keeping some offers unaccepted in reserve for when somebody snubs us.

My main character can accept no more Calling Cards right now, but my alt is still interested. Please direct your cards to “Catherine Raymond” (yes, that’s what I named my alt; confusing, huh?).
Just a note: Assuming that Influence caps at 77, I may have to start turning people away soon, as I only have 5 slots left.
Mister Fox could do with alleviating his ascetic lifestyle and we will send our own cards with as much tact as mass mailing can manage.
