Playing Fallen London on mobile browser

Hello everybody.
I’ve not yet refined my English skills in such a measure as to address this fine community in the appropriate way. So i shall use the common tongue to poise my question.

While waiting for the Android App, is it possible to play Fallen London on the mobile browser? I’ve just started the game, but i would really enjoy to be able to play it on the go every once in a while. It’s really annoying to be bound to the computer on such a game. Especially with all the waiting between actions and all. So? can it be easily done? How does the interface translate to the touchscreen-ness and confinements of mobile browsers?

Yes, it’s possible to play it on the mobile browser. Just open it and there’s no problems. The only real downside is you need to double/triple tap options sometimes.

Edit: yeah, that is also annoying. Oops.

Hey, thanks for the answer. What about the tooltips that appear when i mouse over something? How do i make them appear on a mobile with no actual mouse?

You have to kinda awkwardly hold on the thing in question, then hope it doesn’t go away again once your finger lets go of the screen.

Sounds kinda tricky. But if it’s playable i think I can cope with it until the app is released. Thanks for your help, guys

No problem!

I find it helps if you hover over the tooltip, then drag your finger up; it basically highlights the box, and you can read it without it disappearing. Might take some practice though.

Yep, I tried playing it on the mobile, and it works pretty ok (better on a tablet as it has a bigger screen). My solution to the disappearing tooltips was to hold the finger over the particular icon until the “copy-paste” context menu appeared. And the tooltip text is written at the top of that menu. Not the most elegant solution, and it has some formatting artefacts, but works everytime
