Very ominous. Do we have to open lootboxes for years AGAIN because new rare companion was shuffled in?
Can’t be that rare. I cleaned up a pile of 15 or so boxes and after a lot of samey ones got the beastie. So nowhere near as rare as the Greate Catte (in the other boxes).
You need an exact value of 600 to get the new Companion. So it has the same chance of drawing it as the Blemmigan, which has a an exact value of 1,000.
They’re both 1 in 1,000.

- Fixed a bug which caused quality effects to be omitted from Living Stories, such as Time, the Healer.
- ‘Keep her company at work’ on the Joyful Charter Clerk’s opportunity card can no longer be played if your Favours: the Docks is higher than 6.

I’m not sure if it’s possible (is it implemented as a storylet, not a location? or something? I don’t know), but if it is, it would be ideal if we could also escape the Lab directly through the map, without going through the storylet : )
We’re aware of this also; it’s much less straightforward a change than adding the new map labels, hence not doing it at the same time, but we’re at least looking at it.

Week Ending February 6th
- As of version 6.5.103, Patch Notes are available in-game from the Updates page.

- News Items can be re-capped in game from the Updates page.
- Firmament: Removed the ability to leave Queeneater’s stage via airship between Acts 2 and 3 of a play. The show absolutely must go on! Right to the end, thank you very much.
- Firmament: Clarified some signposting during the final stretch of Chapter 7.
- Clearer indication of when opportunity cards can not be played due to quality requirements.
- Challenges with 0% chance of success no longer offer Second Chances.
- Slightly buffed the rewards of some Dramatic Tension expenditures.
- Expenditures of Dramatic Tension now only take the change points they require, rather than resetting the quality.
- Uses of Villains can now be traded on ‘The Alleys of London: the Criminals’ for a better rate than offered by the Bazaar.
And a bit of business! With the Patch Notes tab in-game now, we’ll just be posting Patch Notes there from now on.
I think it’s better to post for 2-3 more weeks the fact that updates are no available ingame. I doubt people will get used to that small button there instantly.
The dramatic tension changes are very comfy, I must say!
Patch notes are now listed in-game, in the tippity top menu, under ‘Updates’.
Hopefully saying that here once for people’s future reference will be enough. :)
