I’m actually thinking about building up some Parabolan Defenses. But is it worth it? The first step is already ~1k Echoes and the future steps doesn’t seem to become that much cheaper.
With the new 3EpA+ grinds it isn’t that hard anymore to collect the money (compared to 1 or 2 years ago), but it still seems like a big investment.
Primary difference of higher values is effectiveness of nightmare reduction.
Primary use of higher values is ability to overcap your Dangerous to 206. It’s also used in some ambitions, but not all.
Also, it’s a one-time price, like a story.

Hmm… since it’s afaik not used for Heart’s Desire it sound’s like I’ll just have to invest into lvl 1 for the Dangerous overcap.
I usually use my alt to reduce my nightmares (and other menaces), so it doesn’t seem to be worth to invest further.
Anyway, thanks for the information!
/edit: since the kitty has won the election, there might be more use in the defenses, but we’ll see.
