New Forum...

Just went to have a look at the &quotnew&quot forums at PC Gamer. Very classy, and clearly a good place for discussion, unlike the other frazzled place. Anyone signed up yet?
Incidentally, the heading of all the emails (&quotCelebating…&quot) looks too much like celibacy for this time of day…)

I have no idea what you’re talking about! Email? What email? What new forum?

Mentioned in the email I got last night.

There is an article about the nuts and bolts of FL writing.

The email came with this link:

https://forums.pcgamer.com/forums/studio-spotlight.31/?mc_cid=6a93aa0cf5&mc_eid=63910fb244

My bad – I assumed everyone had seen the info, so didn’t provide the details.

It seems there is a bit of misunderstanding here, or at least misleading wordings. This forum isn’t going anywhere, and the new forum belongs to PC Gamer (an entity separate from FBG). The space currently used by FBG likely will be used for another studio after their time in the spotlight is up.

I do enjoy the content that FBG have put up over there in the collaboration though.

Ah, I see I misidentified "the brand new […] forums. Sorry about that.

Community is already too fractured. This forum, reddit, discord, twitter…
Its really hard sometimes to not skip new code or news.

I suppose it depends on what one wishes to get out of participating in a particular &quotforum&quot. If one feels the need to keep abreast of all the possibilities, yes, it must be frustrating. For me, I am happy to use just this Forum as my source of news and pleasant interaction.
