they have added a new storylet in parabola for shadowy gains. You’ll need 15 Identities Uncovered and are promissed 100 Bessemer Steel Ingots after it has been finished.
Besides that the scouting challenge is based on shadowy in stead of dangerous.
/edit: for our wiki writers, here storylet after the first scouting:
[spoiler]Seeking a Mirror from the Far Side
You recognise the faces in the mirror: more than a dozen guards, both human and clay, playing cards or talking among themselves. This must be the break room at Mr Iron’s warehouse. Beyond the guards is a door into a larger hall where the goods are stored.
Steal from Mr Iron’s warehouse
There will have to be a moment when no one is looking your way.
Failure here will bring Wounds and end your current search.
Unlocked with Parabolan Destination 10 (exact) and 15 Identities Uncovered!
55% chance with shadowy 205
69% with shadowy 254

Since the second spoiler somehow doesn’t seem to work, another try in a new post:
Failed result:
[spoiler]Not subtle enough
You wait for the room to clear. The last guard has her back to you. This is your moment. You extend an arm through the mirror–
She turns. She’s quick and well-trained. Her pistol is in her hand; a shot in the shoulder carries you backward into Parabola. You’re fortunate she didn’t shoot the mirror itself. That would have cut your arm off clean.
From this side of the mirror, you see her shout, and the other guards come streaming back into the room. You won’t be able to come through this mirror again.
There’s a second heist after the first that requires 7 Hell Favours and includes a small option for Slowcake’s Caducean Rose.
The end of the heist will allegedly give one a Discordant Soul.
It is a tedious wait for the room to clear, but finally a shipment arrives and most of the workers are called to lend a hand unpacking it. The last guard has her back to you. She has no idea of your presence until you knock her unconscious.
You struggle into her uniform jacket. It fits awkwardly across the shoulders, but in the dimly-lit warehouse, it disguises you while you ‘help’ with several flats of steel.
No one notices that the goods make their way into Parabola. No one sees you climb back into the mirror.
Your maximum Shadowy is now 203.
You are no longer looking for the back of any particular mirror.
Your ‘Parabolan Scouting’ Quality has gone!
Your quarry has become less fierce.
You’ve lost 15 x An Identity Uncovered!
You’ve gained 100 x Bessemer Steel Ingot
/edit: the "heist" is also repeatable, e.g. we’ve got a new way for Bressemer Steel. I’m already interested in the calculations, how this performs compared to building skeletons. edited by Judaspriester on 7/27/2020

Without nutting down to hard numbers: I can already say I’ve made far more steel in 9 actions than I did with 40 actions’ worth of painstakingly assembling the right kind of skeletons.

With some preperation (first getting bone shards, then getting orange-apples and some hinterland scrip) you can do the following:
Thorned Ribcage / Human Skeleton
Sabertooth Skull
4x Ivory Humerus
(no tail)

I think it’s the preparation that largely became the dealbreaker, that and hoarding my precious scrip like a madman. Thanks but I think I’ll be stealing most of my iron in the near future.
